About Me
Hi
My name is Sue, I have been childminding since 2004.
My last Ofsted inspection was rated GOOD.
I am a non smoker, as is my husband. We have no pets. Our children have all now left home.
I pride myself on providing a home from home for the children i look after. i believe the emotional well being of a child is as important as their more formal education. I aim for your child to feel safe, welcomed and as comfortable with me as they do at home. Along with all early years providers i follow the eyfs develpmental guidelines, and provide resources and learning thrugh play exeriences for each individual child. i am forest childcare accredited and we spend most days out and about exploring and playing in my garden and further afield, Covid restrictions permitting.
My Experience
Having had four children of my own I have lots of experience with youngsters, from babies to teenagers. I have helped run baby groups, pre-schools and have been a parent governor and helped out at school with reading, cooking and school trips etc.
I have been a working mum and fully understand the difficulties involved in working, keeping a home going and 'being there' for your children. With this in mind I aim to be as flexible as possible.
My Qualifications
I am registered with Ofsted my reg no is EY287356.
I have a level 3 in childcare and also have current paediatric first aid and and food hygiene.
I regularly attend training in the evenings, weekends and online to keep up to date with current childcare practice and legislation.
I accept childcare vouchers.
I have experience of children with allergies and asthma
My Availability
I work from 7.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, I am available through school holidays, but not bank holidays.
I take five weeks holiday a year.
I am happy to take babies from 2 months, up to children at secondary school.
I aim to be flexible if I can so please contact me to discuss if your hours are slightly outside these times.

Sue is amazing-both my one year old son and six year old daughter have loved their time with Sue.
In the words of my daughter ‘’She is a sweet, lovely lady. She takes care of us really well and she has lots of fun toys for us to play with. She’s the best childminder in the world’.

Sue is brilliant. My little one took to Sue the second she met her has loved it with her every since.
Sue has a lovely calm presence that children are drawn to. My next door neighbour used Sue as did the family across the road. She is a local treasure/legend in Winslow.

Aah thank you, that is so kind.
Sue is an amazing childminder and has looked after all three of my children and still does for one of them.
Sue has a wonderful capacity to teach and guide the children and they come out of their shells around her and gain more confidence.
I couldn't recommend her more xx
