About Me
Hi there, Welcome to Archer’s Childminding
I have lived just outside Kentisbeare village for over 6 years in a large homely home with fabulous outdoor learning area.
I am an Ofsted registered Childminder.
I have a very caring nature, and believe children should enjoy every minute of their day. I enjoy being creative, being outdoors and also sharing time to read, and encouraging children to learn through play.
I have a good knowledge of the EYFS and over 20 years experience as a parent, My 8 years experience working as a teaching assistant in primary schools means I know what schools like children to have learnt before they start and I teach these things in a fun way.
I offer all day care for pre school and babies Monday-Thursday 8-5.15

I am also available evenings and weekends for babysitting both in your home or at wedding venues
My Experience
I have experience working in a private nursery, i did that for a couple of years after i left university, I studied a degree in education with drama. Great fun. I left the nursery when i had my baby Jake (who is now 21!) and that has been a fantastic experience, never a day the same!
For 8 years i worked as a Teaching assistant. I have worked with all age groups and have a lot of experience in reading recovery, SEN and behaviour management.
I want to be able to carry on my love of parenting whilst helping out working families who need it. I can offer a warm hearted, safe and fun environment for your child/ren in my home alongside my fabulous assistant Gill.
I’ve been OFsted registered as a childminder for 9 years now and am always very busy. We do day trips, messy play, learning through playing and doing. And we spend a lot of time outdoors in my large garden with mud kitchen, willow dome, planting areas, and a lot of freedom and child led time xxx

Monday-Thursday 8am-5.15
Evenings and Weekends, I am free for babysitting and wedding /party childcare entertainment and support

Jenny looked after my children for the evening while we attended a wedding. She took excellent care of them and they loved her instantly! She clearly has a natural way with children. She accommodated our preferences for bath time, bedtime etc, and both kids had plenty of fun that evening.
