About Me
My name is Heather, I am married to Steve and have 4 beautiful children, which are grown up, and 2 beautiful granddaughter's, I am a registered childminder in the Menzieshill/Ninewells area, and have over 37 years experience with all ages and stages of children.
My Experience
I combined my first 11 years of childminding with nursing at ninewells hospital. I have achieved many childcare courses over the years and still continue to further my knowledge. I as a parent know and appreciate the expectations that parents require for their children when they are not with them, so I will do my best to make sure anxiety and stress are not words you think about when you leave your child/children in my care. I can do drop off and pick ups from Menzieshill nursery and Tayview Primary, we visit the library, park and woods, as well as many other indoor/outdoor activities including art and crafts, baking, playdough, gardening, I have a wide range of toys, books and games to suit all ages and stages of children.

Heather has been our childminder for almost 8 years for all four of our children now aged between 21 months and 13years old. She has been home from home providing a happy fun environment and we have felt secure that our girls are in a safe and caring home with a lovely family. Sadly we are moving to Renfrew and are are all going to miss Heather so much especially our two younger girls. We would definitely recommend Heather.

For the last year Heather has looked after our son who is 4. Right from day one our son was so settled with her. Heather has built up a really good relationship with him and he enjoys being in her company. He started off originally just 2 hours a week then covid came along. Heather was so accommodating and helped us with the extra days we required. Honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. Can’t recommend her enough. Will be so sad to see our boy leave her care when he starts school in the summer

Heather looked after my 10 year old daughter for a couple of weeks over the summer. From the first visit Heather and her daughter Emma made us feel very welcome and comfortable in their home. Being 10 and opinionated already, my daughter never had any complaints about being in Heathers care and i felt completely confident leaving Taylor their, which is very important to any parent/carer. I am planning on using Heather as a child minder again during school holidays etc and would recommend her to any one looking for childcare.

Thank you so much for the lovely review. Taylor is a fantastic girl and I would be more than happy to look after her any time you need childcare.
Heather and her daughter Megan worked as baby sitters for my wedding. All the parents of the kids they looked after were 100% happy and enjoyed the wedding breakfast and the party without any stress.
I would definitely recommend Heather as a baby sitter or child minder.
