I hope you are all well.

My name is Rachel and I am a British, English speaking Nanny, Night Nanny, Maternity Nurse and Baby & Child Sleep Consultant with over 14 years of professional experience.
I take pride in offering the best possible standards of care for your precious little ones.

I am currently looking for a lovely new family to support on a full time, live out basis. I am happy to split my week between two families, should you only need part time care.

I am a confident, competent and experienced professional, specialising in Infant maternity care, and daily care for babies, toddlers and school aged children. I provide care on either: a nightly, daily or 24/7 basis. I am also available to travel with clients.

I have extensive experience as a daily Nanny; working with many families over the years, to provide full time care for babies, toddlers and school aged children.

As a MaternityNurse/Night Nanny.
I provide care for newborns as well as sharing lots of help, advice and support for parents, which includes: feeding; breastfeeding, bottle feeding and combination feeding, correct handling of expressed breast milk, managing colic and reflux symptoms, winding and helping to digest feeds, sickness, administering medication, preparing and sterilising equipment, swaddling, nappy changing, routine, weaning, tummy time and maintaining the highest standard of hygiene at all times.

As a Baby & Child Sleep Consultant, I support parents with all sleep related queries. I teach the science behind sleep which includes sleep cycles and wake windows. I help to implement good sleeping habits and positive sleep associations from birth. As well as offering hands on support regarding sleep regressions and age appropriate sleep training.

I will also make suggestions for gadgets needed, such as: white noise machines, night lights, bottles, toys to support development etc.

As a daily Nanny, I thoroughly enjoy watching children learn, grow and develop in my care. I enjoy attending lots of local classes and activities which help to aid development and social skills. I host and attend playdates, cook lots of healthy meals from scratch, successfully see little ones through the weaning stage with baby led, adult led, or a combination of both. I successfully toilet train toddlers/children; making the transition as smooth as possible. I handle all nursery duties, help with homework and preparation for school with lots of fun and engaging educational activities including: phonics, letter and number recognition, learning to read and write. I monitor all developmental milestones and arrange age appropriate activities to aid development.

Children, from an early age have been a huge passion of mine. My natural motherly instinct and my caring, nurturing nature has enabled me to turn my passion into a career that I throughly enjoy and love.

All relevant documentation is available to view upon request via my profile. Documents include: valid first aid certificate, qualification certificates, DBS (update service) CV and written references.

I hold a full UK driving license and I have my own SUV car.
