About Me
....I am an OUTSTANDING APPROVED OFSTED PROVIDER. I was a Nanny for 14 years until 2004 when I set up on my own as an Ofsted Registered Childminder providing a warm safe nurturing environment for children in my care. I am married to Davey and we have 4 children aged 27, 25, 13 and 11 (2 youngest boys together) Davey is also Ofsted registered as an assistant and holds a pediatric first aid certificate, Safeguarding and has an enhanced crb (this is an OFSTED legal requirement with being on the premises reguarly in Childminding hours) as he is a House Husband for our very busy family and an extra pair of hands if I need it ... we live in a little village just outside Hexham.
My Experience
I have looked after over 40 children in my 33 years of experience as well as being a mother to my four children. I have gained experience over the years having seen children come in and out of my care as happy individuals growing in confidence and going from strength to strength. I provide lots of activity's and follow the eyfs guidelines.... We do music and movement, creative play, cooking, counting, dressing up, sand and water play, singing, music, tumble time, ball play gaining strength in fine motor skills and much more.... we have a large garden with cars, ride ons, trampoline, netball, footballs, scooters, climbing frame, swings and slides and a little tykes play house and tyke garden... all focusing on fine and gross motor skills.... we have walks to the local parks and visit the local play areas in our local town....
