About Me
Hi ,I have been an Ofsted OUTSTANDING Childminder since Oct 2009 ,my last inspection was May 2022 .
I have space available from September 2024, 8am -5pm on a Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday ,situated in Brickhill ,Bedford.
I have successfully completed an assessment for Accreditation and am able to offer 30 hours free funding (term time only ) for 3 and 4 year old Children( funding offered the term after their 3rd birthday) and 15 hours for 9 month olds and 2 year old Children who fall within the Government criteria(term time only ),further details can be provided on request.
I live in Brickhill,Bedford in a smoke-free household and I take pride in having a well organised approach to Childminding.I have been a childminder for 23 years and in my most recent inspection in May 2022 ,I received an Outstanding from OFSTED. I am very proud of the home from home,safe ,happy enviroment that I provide for all the children in my care.I am first aid certified and a member of PACEY(Professional association for childcare and early years)
I am a Childminder who likes to have fun while being clear about expectations,maintaining a well structured routine and setting fair and consistent boundaries.This is the ideal environment in which children thrive and develop new skills.
I look after children of all age groups ,from the very young to starting school .Activities are planned according to the age and interest of each individual child ,although all the children enjoy each others company regardless of age gaps- especially at parties and organised outings .We are always busy enjoying ourselves and have alot of fun together .

My Experience
Home Environment
At home we have music, dance, story time, cooking, art and craft activities and gardening in our fully-enclosed back garden. We have a full age range of toys and equipment to encourage good developmental skills and a quiet personal space to rest or sleep.

Working with Parents
Communication with parents is very important and my daily and weekly plans are always discussed so that you know what your child is doing in my care.
Whenever possible I take photos and video clips which I whats app to you so that you can see what your child is doing.
The Outdoors
Not only do we have a fully enclosed back garden that your Child can access whenever they want, we frequently visit the local parks and woods so that we can get plenty of fresh air.
Knowing that your child is taking daytrips and spending time outdoors is one of the best reasons to choose me as a childminder.
Group Activities
We mix with large groups of children which is important for your Child’s development and every week we attend various Toddler groups,groups at the Children's Centre,the local Library for rhyme time and story time and indoor and outdoor play areas.During the school holidays we enjoy organised day trips out .
