About Me
THE PLAYHOUSE CHILDCARE WARRINGTON
Hi my name is Beckie, I live in Warrington. I live with my three children and Bob the Bichon.
I have worked in childcare for over 33 years, working as a Nursery Nurse and working my way upto Nursery Manager. I left after having my third child, as i felt i could provide excellent childcare in a home from home environment, drawing on my knowledge and experiences. It is from this point I decided to set up 'The Playhouse Childcare'.
My sister is also registered as a Childminder and we work together to bring the EYFS to your children in a fun and stimulating way. Although based in two settings we very much work together as a team, planning and implementing ideas between us. We go on various outings together allowing your child to mix with other children and make new friends that they will see on a regular bases. We also visit various 'Tots' groups, parks, play areas and we attend Nature Club every Tuesday, where we nurture meaningful experiences as we explore our outside areas. We enjoy hands on experiences in a natural environment as well as making journey sticks, nature stars, discover wildlife, read stories and have snack together.
I have undertaken further visits and inspections from Warrington Borough council and I am accredited and able to offer the two, three and four year old funding.
I am fully registered with Ofsted and i am fully insured with MM and also have public liability insurance.
My Experience
I have worked in various settings over the past twenty seven years. I have worked with children aged from 0-11 years old. I have experience of Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cystic Fybrosis, speech delay/impediment, hearing loss and behaviour issues. I have also worked with children who are from other nationalities and cultures and who have english as their second language.
I have also had my own set of twins and i completely understand how full on two little ones can be however i wouldnt have it any other way!
My Qualifications
I have my NNEB which was a full time, two year course, as well as my HNC Level 5 in Advanced Practice in Working with Children and Families, which was a two year part time course.

My Availability
Ofsted Inspected July 2024 ~ Graded GOOD
'The Playhouse' is open all year round from 7.30am - 5.30pm. (It will be closed for my annual leave, but i will give you plenty of notice of these dates!)

My baby girl - O, was with Beckie from 8 months old. During this time O suffered numerous health issues and whilst all this was going on Beckie was helpful and caring and did what she could to make life for us easier, even putting careplans into place to put me at ease. O absolutely loved going to Beckies house and would be full of smiles and laughter and would be the same when I picked her up.
Beckie is caring and compassionate and builds a forever relationship with the children.
I would absolutely recommend Beckie to anyone!

My daughter was with Beckie from aged 9 months to her starting primary school. Beckie promised to deliver a home from home setting and she delivered more than I could ever dream of!
My daughter progressed and developed well above the average for her age group with Beckie through interactive and fun learning she smashed all of her milestones.
My daughter had complex allergies and some safeguarding needs and Beckie supported us every step of the way. I honestly never had to worry or think for a second “is she okay?”. She cares for the children in her care like they are her own family and goes above and beyond!
When the day came for her next adventure we were all devastated that our journey had come to an end. We started as customers but left as friends - I honestly can’t recommend her enough!

My little boy - O, has been with Beckie since he was 9 months old. Over the past 3 years she has built an amazing relationship with him and us aswell. Beckie is flexible and will change days or have him for extra days if she can.
O has progressed into a confident, smart, pleasant little boy and I know this is because of Beckie. They have such an incredible bond. He always runs in and comes home smiling and wiped out from a busy day.
I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else to care for him whilst I work. Beckie ensures the care she delivers to the children is to the higest standard and has helped me out so much with any issues I have had.
I have always and will always recommend Beckie to anyone seeking childcare as she is the most caring, thoughtful and attentive person I have ever met.

My daughter has been with beckie for 8 months full time
Beckie is so kind and caring, my daughter absolutely loves beckie and her 3 children and not forgetting Bob the dog
Beckie is very understanding and has helped with any situation
My daughter has come home very happy and beckie has definitely made a difference in her life and we cant thank er enough

Beckie has been looking after my little boy Alfie since he was 10 months old, she is brilliant with him and he loves going. She is has a caring nature and Alfie warmed to her straight away which made me feel better about leaving him, there is nothing better than going to work knowing that your little boy is going to be well looked after and cared for by someone who is so lovely. She is very reliable and her home is a safe environment for children to be in, it is like a home from home where any child would benefit from her care attention and love.
I would 100% recommend Beckie, she is genuinely a lovely lady with an equally lovely family and any child would benefits from being in her care. We will truly miss her.

My little girl has been with the playhouse since she was 18 months, she starts school in September and is going to miss Beckie so much! They are always out and about, at the park, visiting different places! My little girl is always happy to go in the mornings and never wants to leave, she has told me when she starts school she wants to visit every week! There are children of different ages and my Little girl loves beckies own children! The other bonus of the playhouse is Aunty Hayley (beckies sister) who is also a childminder, they are always doing things together and at each other's houses so there is always loads going on! Beckie is friendly and makes you feel part of the family and treats my little girl like a part of her family, she keeps me informed with everything that's going on and sends out a newsletter which is always a lovely read! My little girl has built a special bond with the playhouse and the family, I never have issues leaving her and know she is safe. I would recommend the playhouse over and over again. I just wish she hadn't grow up so quickly! I will miss the playhouse but I know the playhouse has given her the skills to start school with confidence, friendliness and an understanding of structure. Thank you for they last 2 and half years!!

not only has Beckie been a fab childminder to my little boy but also an excellent friend to myself. she made us feel so welcome when we first moved to Warrington. would definitely recommend her and the playhouse to everyone. xx

I wish to say that my two children have had the time of there lives, whilst being care for by Beckie at The Playhouse. I highly recommend Beckie and her good work to all parents, she is a credit to her profession.

Thankyou for your kind words, i have loved every minute of having your little ones.It has been so much fun, i just dont know where the past two and a half years have gone! I also dont know what i will do without our chats in a morning and evening!
