About Me
Hi I am a male child-minder, just as capable to care for and help your children's development needs, I have been a registered childminder since January 2013 I worked as an assistant for my wife for 12 months, while she was a child minder, until I registered myself. Both my partner and myself have all the relevant qualifications and DBS checks & insurances etc, I have experience working with 3 months to four years old and have come from a background of childcare as my parents were both foster parents and childminders for over 20 yrs. I had my 2nd OFSTED inspection on Nov 7th 2016, and I maintained my rating of good. This is available to view online, I work with the Local council on "working towards excellence" and I am also currently rated good. I also hold a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good) which I received in August 2013
I currently have two children, 1 child 3 days a week the other child 5 days a week,
I am recently been accepted by Norfolk County Council to offer funded places for 2,3 & 4 years, for which I have vacancies, I will also be offering the 30hrs a week free childcare and I am registered to offer Tax Free Childcare when they becomes available in this area.
My Experience
I worked for my wife as her assistant for 12 months and have experience of working with all age groups (3 months to 4 years old).
I work following the new EYFS and all relevant OFSTED criteria.
I am always looking for new courses and meetings to attend, so that my knowledge of childcare and also my setting is always up to the latest standards expected. I also work with the Local council on "working towards excellence".
I have completed the overhaul of my back garden to make it more child friendly and allow children in my care to explore, play and develop.

My Fees
- Childminding from £3.00 per hour
I charge £3.00 an hour for childminding, for this I provide nappy sacks, wipes, healthy snacks, if required and your child is in my care all day, a cooked lunch/tea for £1:50 per day, plus morning and afternoon snacks, or snack Am or Pm if you child is here for 5hrs or less. (If your child is not in our care all day and should you require a cooked meal then I will add on £2.00 per day,) I also offer a warm safe learning environment with activities for all ages and a smoke free environment.
School drop off and pick ups unavailable from all schools till further notice.
Discounts available for siblings, childcare vouchers accepted.

Trevor has been looking after my son for 5 years now since he was 1yrs old. I honestly could not wish for a better childminder. My son loves going there and Trevor is always accommodating and willing to help out when I have needed it. You will not find a better childminder

My son has been coming here for a little while now and absolutely loves it. He’s really come out of his shell and is developing very well. We couldn’t ask for a better childminder and would recommend to all our friends and family.

I would highly recommend kiddie Caperz. My 18 month old son has been coming here for a month now and he loves it, he is always happy to go there and sometimes doesn't want to leave. There house is always spotless and full of toys to keep little ones entertained. I wouldn't take him anywhere else.

At first like any normal parent I was abit unsure about having a male as a childminder. But, I needed a childminder so I thought to myself there are male nurses, midwives and nursery nurses so why not give him a chance. Once I met Trevor and Denise I had no need to worry. They are a very happy, relaxed and devoted couple who truely enjoy childminding. My daughter is 16 months old and has been going to kiddie caperz for over a month now. Everytime I collect her she has a big smile on her face and grabs me by the hand to show me what she has been playing with or doing during that particular day. Their home is clean, homely and full of toys. Its a spacious home with a safe garden which all children would enjoy. My daughter brings a craft home at least once a week which shows me how much fun she has had. Leaving your child with someone you don't know is very difficult, but, when you pick them up and they are happy, thats the most important thing ,and happy is what I feel when I leave my child with Trevor and Denise. My daughter runs into their home to play and can't wait to get there. I couldn't wish for better childcare.
