About Me
I am a twenty one year old female with over three years experience working in my families private day care setting with children aged 0-5 years, in the last year of my time there specifically working with children aged 0-2 years. I have studied Early Childhood Education studies and completed 3/4 of my course, however I had to leave university early due to personal bereavement. I intend on finishing this qualification when I have raised the funding to do so. I have a current CRB that was completed in October 2013 when my family became foster carers and live in Collier Row.
I have very good knowledge of the DFS Development Matters in the Early Years (2012) and the EYFS (2007) and how to put this national curriculum into practice to provide an enriching and safe learning environment for a child to explore and play, encouraging development in the early years.
I have my own car and have held a Full UK License (clean) for four years, I am a very safe driver.
I am a very responsible and reliable person who is enthusiastic and confident in providing care for children. I feel that I have the experience and attributes you require.
I have just reached the end of a temporary contract as an Employment Consultant and have decided I would like to return to childcare, but on a more individual basis than in a private/ government funded setting.
My Experience
My family currently own two early years private day care settings in Dagenham and I have worked here since 2009. I have had a lot of experience in planning and leading activities with the aim of enriching children's expereinces and assisting their early learning and development.
I also have had work placements in a SureStart children's centre and other private day care settings.
I have a good knowledge of the EYFS 2007 and DFS: Development Matters in the Early Years (2012) and how to implement these national curriculums into my practise in order to aid the development of the young children within my care and also to improve the high standard of care that I provide.
