!!Ofsted Outstanding March 2023!!
I have recently received my 2nd Outstanding grade from Ofsted. The 1st one being in June 2017.
I am super proud to be able to say that I have kept my outstanding grade. I love watching children flourish in my care into independent and confident little people.
I currently live in Canford Heath on Warburton Road with my husband, our 15 year old son Ashton and our soon to be 6 year old daughter Arabella. I decided to call myself 'Aunty Lisas childminding' as I want your child to feel like part of our family!! Your children will be treated like one of my own.
We live in a lovely large home with a purpose built playroom attached to the side of our house. I developed this with children in mind and therefor it's main purpose is to promote children's independence and individual learning. I have a good sized garden which the children have access to daily which has plenty of physical equipment to keep the children active.
My Experience
I have 20 years experience of working with children and I left my position of deputy manager at a pre school in parkstone where I worked for 8 1/2 years. I love working with children but I decided that I wanted to do this on a smaller scale rather than with a class of 20!!
I am a very active childminder and we go out most days to toddler groups, music classes, the park, childminder groups, farmer palmers, soft play, OLGA gymnastics, the library and the beach plus many more!
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC level 3 in childcare, first aid, safeguarding, childminding qualification, food hygiene and many more relevant training behind me which continually gets updated.
In June 2017 and March 2023 I was awarded 'outstanding' by Ofsted ?

Lisa has been absolutely wonderful for our daughter. She has been going there for 3 years and the change in our daughter has been amazing. Our daughter was shy when she started and Lisa has helped her discover her independence and get ready for school. The children are always out on adventures and Lisa’s childminding room is wonderful and full of everything a child could need. Lisa has truly felt like a part of our family and we can’t wait to come back and visit during the school holidays.
Would highly recommend Lisa. She has been a diamond.

Lisa has looked after both of my children from a young age. Austin was 1 when he joined Aunty Lisa’s childminding and my daughter was 6 months old. My son has just finished today ready to start primary school, he is very much excited to see Lisa again during the holidays! My daughter Nahla still attends Lisa’s 4 days a week and loves it.
My daughter was born 4 months early and had health issues initially and delayed development. Lisa liased and worked with her occupational therapist and doctors to ensure she could take the best care of her she could and help her in reaching her milestones. My daughter is now 3 and has exceeded all expectations for development considering her prematurity and I attribute a great deal of this to Lisa’s work and attention to her and great communication with professionals.
They both love aunty Lisa’s and everyday they’re doing an activity they really enjoy. They love going to gymnastics, farmer parmers, the oceanarium, Alice in wonderland etc. Lisa ensures that their development is tracked and that the activities they do are based on what they need to learn or improve on. She taught Austin to spell and write his name and I honestly don’t think he would be as bright as he is if it wasn’t for Lisa and her efforts.
Lisa keeps a development scrapbook for each child filled with pictures of what the children get up to each day and a description along with what developments they are working on/have completed. It’s really lovely at the end of each term to read the book. She is a great communicator and is always sending photos of what they get up to day to day.

Thankyou so much sian for your kind words, it really means a lot. I have absolutely loved looking after Austin and helping him to grow!! He’s going to be missed by us all but we look forward to welcoming him back in the holidays!! It’s lovely that we still have Nahla for another year but it will be sad again with another goodbye!! X
Hi. I have been sending my little boy Anthony who is 1 yr old now for about 3 months and I couldnt choose better then Aunty Lisa Childminder.
They do lots of nice activities. He is absolutly enjoying himself. Comes back exhausted in a good way as he has a very busy and exciting day. She follows your routine of feeding and sleeping which is most important for me. Always in good contact by texting. I know what they going to do on following day. Sometimes receive pictures of my son on highchair, pushchair or in Farmer Palmers. You always get a written report at the end of the day which helps us make sure we all do whats best for him.
She helps make your day less stressful when you're extra busy and thinking about your little ones wellbeing.
