About Me
Hi, I'm Tish an Ofsted regulated childminder.
I live in Brentwood - ( off Ingrave Rd) in a 5 bedroom house with enclosed garden together with my husband and 3 children (20, 12 & 10).
I offer a loving, friendly and welcoming home environment with lovely play spaces and many age appropriate toys.
I also have a lovely sized garden with many outdoor toys. We learn to plant flowers and grow vegetables in the summer and visit all the wonderful country parks and woodlands locally. We will often visit parks and gardens too, including Lake Meadows in Billericay, Hylands Park, Norsey Woods and Weald Country Park where we feed the deer and ducks and wonder around The Stickman Trail.
During the school holidays, we will also go to local zoo's & the aquarium.
We regularly go to Barleylands as well as an indoor play area.
We also go to the local library for a craft session as well as a messy play session followed by story time and nursery rhymes. We will visit local playgroups and I network with lots of local childminders for lovely days out - we will have lots of community interaction and make lots of friends.
My Experience
Accredited Ofsted Childminder - Outstanding.
I have three children of my own, aged 19, 11 and 9.
I have a Childminding certificate, Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding and DBS enhanced disclosure for both myself and husband (who works within Finance for a government body).
I have Public liability insurance with Pacey.
I also follow the Early Years Statutory Framework to ensure your child's development is consistent and they are fully prepared to start school.

My hours are Monday to Friday 07.45am to 17.30pm.
I welcome any potential parents to come and meet me and see what childcare setting I offer, as having been there myself looking for childcare I think parents know when someone and somewhere is right for their child.

Five stars are not enough. Tish has been looking after my son since he was 11 months old and he just turned 2. From the first day she has provided a safe and encouraging environment where he could flourish. He absolutely adores it there and Tish has excellent skills in making each child feel like they are superstars. She provides a wide variety of activities for the children and regularly takes them out and about to parks, playgrounds etc. I cannot recommend her enough!

Tish looked after our 2 year old son for a period of 4 months while we were temporarily staying in the area. He took to her straight away and loved every day that he went there. She's so loving towards the children she looks after and does so many different activities with them from arts and crafts to going on trips out. Her house is lovely and clean and she has a huge variety of educational toys. She has been so flexible and accommodating and we've really appreciated that. Thank you Tish, you'll be missed!

We were really impressed with Tish. We needed a one-off childminder to bridge the gap after the Christmas break with our son's nursery closed on the day we were going back to work. I arranged to see Tish at her home first- she was very accommodating, warm and friendly and eased any anxieties I had about introducing our son to a new environment.
On the day, Tish took the children in her care out and provided pictures to update us via What's App. This was a nice touch. Our son had a lovely time in a stimulating environment- so much so that he didn't want to leave! I would not hesitate to recommend her and she will be the first port of call should we need any future child-minding services.

I am so happy I found Tish to look after my children, she is absolutely lovely. I have 2 girls who go to her and she treats them as if they are part of the family. They love going there and she does crafts and activities and makes it so much fun. She really takes an interest in them. I highly recommend her.

A five star childminder. I could not have more trust in someone else to look after my only 2 years old litle one. She is treated as a family member, I have seen improvements on her speech developments and behavior from the first month. I highly recomend this childminder with all my heart and be sure that your child will be treated as her own child and even more. We love you Tish ?
