Hi, my name is Tanya, I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Yardley.I have many years experience working with children I've been a mum for 26 years and childminder for 10 years.I had my last inspection in 2015 I was graded Good in all areas.I am NVQ levels 2&3 qualifications for childcare.I also hold relevant qualifications for childcare inc safeguarding, food hygiene, and first aid. i also attend meetings and other courses to benefit my role as a childminder.I have lots of experience working with babies from newborn +
I have been married 22 years and have four daughters age 28, 26 19 and 13
My home is a no smoking household
I live in Yardley and I'm available for nursery and school to pick up drop off to St Bernadette.Unfortunately
I am unable to do any other school/Nursery
I offer places for babies and children age 0+
I offer full/part term time vacancies.
I may be able to provide holiday cover.I offer the 2+3 year grant also for the free 15 hours and 30-hour entitlement.
I attend local playgroups each week and the libraries and meet up with other childminders We have trips to local parks in school holidays we like to do bigger outings to large parks farm with other childminder and children which is very exciting for everyone we enjoyed many picnics in the park trips to airport, play centres museum ect..
Whilst in the home we have fun with many exciting activities and games, books, worksheets and toys which are all age suitable for children.I have a wide range of toys/equipment for all children.As a mom myself I know what it's like leaving your children in the care of others.I like to ensure all the children feel happy secure and parents reassured at all times.I welcome parents to ring /text me during the day.
My home is kept clean and safe for children to enjoy their time with me in my setting and to feel safe and secure at all times.

My working hours are 7.00 am till 6.00pm week days

My son first went to Tanya age 10 months and 3 years later my daughter joined him. From the moment they started I felt at ease with going back to work. I wanted my children to be comforted if they was sad, to be cuddled, loved and feel secure when I wasn't with them and I know they had all of these from tanya. A home from home, nurturing environment filled with fun, but also a safe place for them to be taught right from wrong, to be guided to make good choices and socialised with other children.
They were regularly taken to play groups and days out. They ate a variety of good nutritious foods and took part in lots of activities throughout the day with the other children.
We only left tanya as we relocated but if I could have taken her with us we would have. It's been really hard try and find someone who meets our needs, as they are very big shoes to fill. The children adore her and we are so sad to have said goodbye.
I would highly recommend her.
