About Me
I am N.N.E.B qualified childminder.I have worked with children in various settings for 30 years and have been minding for 25 years. I have 2 grown up children of my own , a beautiful 2 year old Granddaughter and a Husband I have a seven seater car which can be used for childminding, although we do like to walk whenever possible.
I offer a homely, safe , fun and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to reach their full potential. I follow the EYFS and am able to offer funded places. My first aid and safeguarding training is up to date.
My Experience
After completing my Nursery nurse training i worked in an University Day Nursery working with students and teachers children aged 2 to 5. I then worked in 2 local authority day nurseries/ family centres working with children and Parents who needed support for various reasons. Some of these children had special needs or disabilities. After having my Daughter i became a registered childminder. I have excellent references from previous employers, past and present families , including the children.

My Availability
Monday to Thursdays 7.30 am to 6 pm and school drop offs and pick ups from Burlington schools. Full or part time places available. I have vacancies arising for under 5’s from July 2024 and school drop offs/ collections from Burlington Infants from September 2024

Clare has been looking after our little girl for the last two years, since she was aged 1. We are overjoyed with the care that our daughter has received. Clare is extremely experienced and provides a homely and stimulating setting for children. My child has taken part in a wide range of activities, and Clare is great at ensuring that she has time outside exploring and also that she partakes in educational activities in a fun way. My child is a horribly fussy eater, and Clare has approached this with patience and compassion. We receive regular photo updates throughout the day, and feel reassured that our child is well looked after and having a wonderful time. My daughter regards Clare as a second Mum, and runs into the house without a backward glance. This is more than we could have asked for. Many thanks Clare!
