About Me
Hi,
My name is Elaine, I have been a registered childminder for the past 35 years in Beckenham, based close to Elmers End Green.
I have three children aged 33, 36 and 20 years of which 2 live in our pet friendly home and interact really well with the children that attend the setting.
My working hours are 8am to 6pm
Monday to Thursday .
I provide school runs to Marian Vian Primary School and can do pre-school runs to local schools.
The children enjoy a range of activities and outings throughout the week such as play-doh, building blocks, arts and crafts, fancy dress, music, trips to various local parks, song groups, the library and soft play..
The children and I have great fun together, and look forward to another bubbly character joining the setting!
My Experience
A mother of three; over the past 35 years I have looked after many children aged between 10 weeks to 13 years old.
My Qualifications
I hold a paediatric first aid certificate and have an up to date safeguarding certificate.
My Availability
My working hours are 7am until 6pm Monday to Thursday . If you require care outside of these hours I will be happy to discuss this with you.
I work all year round including school holidays.

I was a nurse returning to work and extremely particular about who would look after our daughter. I personally found Elaine (Lainey) to be extremely professional and wonderful at looking after our little girl. She very accommodating if my shift overran (Typical of NHS).
Her loving, caring nature provided a positive environment for our little one to thrive. She has now just started primary school. THANK YOU ELAINE.

Elaine started looking after my children when they were 1 and 4 and has been wonderful for the last 5 years - kind, caring, fun and flexible. She communicates well, and has great ideas if any challenges come up (for example, arranging for one of older kids to be a special 'buddy' when my son was having a wobble). A great childminder who I would recommend to anyone.
My youngest asked me to rate Lainey 10,000 stars!

I’m a single parent to a now 3 year old who has been with Lainy for nearly a year. My daughter has totally thrived and literally can not wait to get to paints every day. She was not this happy and vibrant in her previous setting. Lainy is so flexible, helps out as much as she can and doesn’t tell me off if I’m 5 mins late. All the kids play well together and it is like having a second mum. I feel very grateful that both me and my child have her in our lives xxx

Lainey looked after my daughter from the age of 10 weeks. She is now 19 and in her phone Lainey is called 2nd Mum. Nothing phases Elaine, she gives 100% to the children in her care and goes above and beyond to provide them with a safe and enriching environment to grow and develop.

Elaine cared for my daughter during primary school. We still catchup now that she’s no longer there because your kids become a part of Lainey’s family if she minds them. She loves them and they love her back, which says it all I think!

My son started going to Elaine at 10 months old he’s now 7 years old and his little sister who’s just 4 goes as well. The kids adore Lainey as they affectionately call her. Ava loves going to playgroups and visiting other Childminder friends.
The kids have always felt happy and secure with my Childminder and I would have no hesitation recommending Elaine to other Mums and Dads x

Elaine has looked after my 2 children (aged 2 and 5) for the last year. She provides a very warm and caring environment and my children are very happy to be there. Elaine is very flexible and good at communicating - she always make time to talk at drop off / pick up and (particularly during settling in) sends updates through the day. I'd highly recommend Elaine to anyone looking for childcare.
