About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Higham Ferrers. I was a primary school teacher for 18 years but am now really enjoying working as a child minder! I have 3 children - Harry (born 2010), Archie (born 2012) and Ava (born 2015). We live just round the corner from Henry Chichele Primary School where my children attend so I will be available for school runs to this school only. We live in a spacious 5 bedroom house with a large playroom filled with plenty of toys! We have 2 cats called Billy and Poppy who the children love playing with.
I have completed the Hygge in the Early Years accreditation and feel this approach helps create a calm and welcoming atmosphere for all the children. We enjoy going out every day, whether it's to one of the playgroups locally, the park or the library for example. I think it's really important to get out for a bit of fresh air and fun every day. We do lots of creative activities centred around the children's interests. I like to provide open ended activities using mainly natural and authentic materials and objects as I feel it really helps stimulate children's creativity and curiosity. I have English Heritage membership and a country park parking permit and enjoy taking the children on day trips to visit local places of interest.
I offer full time, term time only and ad hoc holiday places.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.75 per hour
Fees include snacks and outings. Healthy homemade meals can be provided for £2 per meal.
