About Me
My name is Lesley Sweeney, I have been married for 22 years and have two children who are aged 20 and 17.
I am registered with the Care Inspectorate (SCSWIS).
I am a member of the Scottish Childmining Association (SCMA) and also a member of the East Kilbride Childminding Association.
I am fully insured through SCMA.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder since August 2007. I am registered to care for six children.
Included in my service is breakfast, lunch and snacks dependant on your needs. My service offers a home from home environment with a variety of activities including trips to the childminders toy library, rhymetime at the local library, soft play, local parks (including walks down Calderglen Country Park - depending on the age and ability of your child), local toddler groups, etc.
I also include various arts and crafts, dress-up, singing/dancing and baking. I have a safe enclosed garden with a variety of ride-on toys, slides, see-saw and playhouse. As well as active play, I have a variety of DVD's, videos and books which the children can enjoy if they are tired or just want to relax!!
My main aim is to make sure your child feels welcome, happy and safe in my home and enjoys coming day after day.
I drop off and pick up from local nurseries and provide before and after school for St Hilarys Primary.
My Qualifications
I actively attend various courses run by the SCMA.
I currently hold a First Aid Certificate and have recently attended a Child Protection Course and Elementary Food Hygiene Course.
My Availability
I currently have availablilty for a child aged 0-5 and before and after school. Please feel free to contact me if you think I am able to help.
