About Me
Hello I am Carole and I provide childcare in a home from home setting, which includes a large playroom to provide a caring environment in which your child feels safe and happy. I make sure the children in my setting socialise and gain confidence and are taken out every day to explore and build their independence. I work to high standards and build a secure and trusting relationship with you and your child which is very important, I have been a childminder for over 30 years now and gained a vast array of experience and training to help children to achieve their full potential.
My Experience
I hold a clean driving license and have a seven seater car with age appropriate car seats, I encourage plenty of out door play with access to a very large garden with a playhouse, water/sand play,climbing equipment in a safe setting . We attend playgroups and forest play and explore lots of out door activities growing vegetables and harvesting them to eat.
My Qualifications
I attend regulary courses to keep me informed and up to date,
NVQ level 3 in childcare and development
Safeguarding children
Paedicatric first aid
Food Hygiene
Caf Trained
Plus various other childcare qualification's
And a member of the childminder's associations
My Availability
At the moment I have limited availability My opening Times are flexible if needed

Carole is such a lovely, kind, caring person. She was looking after my son since he was 18 months for nearly a year. She provides lot of activities for kids, taking them to the parks, toddler groups, sensory rooms. My son really loves her and adores, he enjoyed every minute there playing and learning new things. It was a really amazing journey for my little one. Carole always got smile on her face, would reccomend her for everyone.

Carole has been amazing with my little girl who started off very anxious about going into childcare. We got to know Carole via the mums and tots group she runs at Lostock Gralam community centre. This gives the children a great opportunity to mix with others in a play environment. On the other days of the week Carole takes the children on outdoor adventures or sensory play if the weather does not permit. My little girl has loved these outings. Along with proudly bringing home various pieces of work from her afternoon craft activities.
I really like that Carole has a strong network of childminder friends. They all arrange outings together and attend the mums and tots group. This gives the children a great opportunity to expand their friendships with others to create a trusted community.
Carole has also been excellent with my daughter's dairy allergy. We had a meeting to discuss her dietary requirements before care started and there have never been any issues at all. Once trialing the milk ladder, I listed which foods were safe and Carole has kept me informed of any food my little one has eaten that day so I could check for reactions. She's been a great help.
Carole is more like a family member to not just the children but the parents too. She is very warm, caring and will always try her best to help people. A real mother hen.

Carole has minded my child Jack since he was 10 months old. From day one Carole has provided a caring, loving, safe, home from home environment which was a very important factor for me.
Carole goes above and beyond her caring duties, making you feel part of the family. Nothing is too much trouble. If Carole can help, then she will!
Alongside the excellent day to day care, Carole provides learning support for all levels of the child's development, all the way to preparation for pre-school.
Facilities are fantastic!! Jack loves the garden activities and multiple toys that are available for him to play with. Very often he has not wanted to come home because he has been busy having too much fun!
I would whole heartily recommend Carole's services.

Carole has looked after my daughter since she was 6 months old. Carole is a very caring, thoughtful and very loving lady. My daughter has been learning new things everyday as Carole is always doing something with the children to help their development. My daughter is very well looked after and I feel very settled whilst my daughter is in Carole's care knowing she is safe and cared for. My daughter settled in with Carole very quickly and Carole gained her trust quickly too. There is a large playroom and outdoor area which is very safe for the children and also Carole's house is very clean. I would recommend Carole to anyone as I know they wouldn't be disappointed in her. Amazing lady.
