I am 43 years old & I have been married since September 2004. Together with my husband, we have 2 beautiful children.
We live in a nice quiet area of Poulton-le-Fylde, with-in easy walking distance to the local shops & parks.
We have a family dog, Nova (who is actually outdoors or in her own outhouse & so is not in the house at all during the working day). We also have two family cats, Arlo & Sully.
My Experience
I am an OFSTED registered Childminder & I have been childminding now for over 16years.
I have cared for a number of children both in the early years & after school care. I have lots of experience with young babies & work closely with parents in all aspects of my care. My youngest child to date that I have been a childminder for was 6 weeks on their start date.
I attend various toddlers groups & play centres each week with the children as well as arranging visits to the zoo, the library, the beach, parks & lots of other places that the children enjoy including a weekly visit to a local music class. I like to arrange day trips out that the children will enjoy & benefit from.
My Qualifications
I have compleated my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning & development. I have also worked towards getting my level 3 award in Supporting children & young peoples speech, language & communication as well as a CACHE Level 2 certificate in understanding Autism.
I have my Paediatric First Aid certificate & Food Hygiene Level 3, among many others including safeguarding levels 1 & 2 & British Sign Language. I regularly attend training sessions. A copy of all my qualifications can be seen at any time by parents. Parents are regularly updated of any ongoing training.

My current availability :
I work Monday - Thursday from 8:00 until 5:00, but can offer flexibility where needed so please feel free to enquire for care outside these hours as I do where possible start earlier & finish later where needed.
I offer term time only contracts.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.75 per hour

I will go through my fees at the meeting as these may vary depending on your needs. A guide would be £4.75 per hour (minimum hours are required each week).

My little boy goes to Kate every day before and after school and I honestly don't know what we would do with her! She is a fantastic person with a lovely family and my son adores her. She has made my child's first year at school extremely easy and I hope my child enjoys many more years with Kate!
