I'm a mother of 4 and a grandmother of six - 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. I'm a very warm and caring person, firm but very fair, very flexible and communicate very well with people.
My Experience
For the past 24 years I've been a Registered Childminder which I found very rewarding, and I have the understanding of the importance of offering individual care and attention to children, and the importance of working with parents from a cultural background in order for continuity of care and where children are given the opportunity to develop a sense of their own identity and culture. At Tiny Angels Daycare I aim to provide a Safe, Loving and Stimulating Environment. Each child is treated equally and welcomed into a warm homely environment, where they are valued for who they are. Children are encouraged to develop at their own pace with activities and opportunities being carefully planned, building on their interest and abilities. I work in conjunction with the new Early Years Foundation Stage document in line with the government initiative/guidelines..

We are so happy with the support and care at Tiny Angels. My daughter goes home from school with Laverne 4 days a week, where she gobbles up Laverne's delicious dinners and comes out with brilliant array of pictures, craft things and learning based activity sheets. This has been my daughters' first year at school and we were worried about how to make sure she was safe and happy when we couldn't pick her up - but I never have to worry about this because we have complete confidence in Laverne and her team who are faultlessly dependable in the care they offer.

Thank you for your support for the past 8 months. Tiny Angels Daycare Limited appreciate your input regarding the setting, which helps me to deliver a professional service to you and your family.
After having my first child and returning to work I was very nervous about leaving my daughter in the care of somebody else. From the moment I walked into Lavern's home I was sure that this would be the place for my daughter. This was confirmed by the wonderful references left by current and previous parents, as well as the warm welcoming environment. The settling in period worked very well and my daughter has now been in the setting for 8months and I am so impressed with the progress she has made. Above all she is happy and cannot wait to leave to go in the mornings. I have also decided to hold off sending her to nursery, as a teacher I feel my daughter is receiving the same quality of care, education and social interaction as she would in a nursery. I am always made aware of current topics, planning and activities my daughter is involved with and feel that they all help to aid her development. Again I am so happy with the quality of care and would highly recommend Lavern to anyone who is looking for a quality childminder
