About Me
I am a loving caring person who has been registered with ofsted for 20 years. I and my husband Eric have been working together and are available to work weekdays 8.00-6.00 and we take pride in being a second parent to children in our care and treat them as our own. Providing quality care is the most important outcome of our service.
Our daily activities include visiting the local park, library and attending child-minder pop-ins, and arranging fun and stimulating learning activities such as dressing up, creative play reading and celebrating cultural events from around the world. We provide snacks for children involving them in snack preparation and menu choices.
We take children to and from school or clubs and we work with local childminders to organise group activities. We am also available for school runs from St Mary Magdaline Primary School and Cardwell Primary School.
It is our sole duty to make sure that children in our care receive a safe and healthy care.
My Experience
We have working experience of 19 Years and counting, and We enjoy being recognised as a second parents. Children love our home and We make sure they feel a part of our family. We have worked with ages 0-15 years old and their parents have all enjoyed our services.
I have also worked as a pre-school deputy for one year. I have a lot of experience in making sure that children learn and achieve well in their Early Years Developmental Stages before they reach their first year in school.
We have 3 children of our own, ages 20,17 and 15 years old. Our children are so understanding about our job that they accept new children and make them feel at home.
My Husband is also Registered and we work with an assistant.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 3, Current First Aid, Safegauding Children, Introduction to Early Years Foundation Stage, Health and Safty, Child Protection, Food and Hygiene, Young Children and behaviour Management
My Availability
We are available for Before and After School runs from St. Mary Magderline school, and Cardwell Primary School, woodhill primary school.

Auntie Holly as my kids and I like to call her has taken care of my youngest for over a year now and I must say that I have seen a significant improvement in him. He has improved in his speech, has learnt his numbers and at the age of 2 can count up to 20 and has also improved in his letter recognition. Auntie Holly and her family have always been welcoming, loving and flexible to our childcare needs and has always made it work. I would definitely recommend her to everyone 100%.

Thank you for choosing to bring your wonderful son to our setting and home. It’s been a great pleasure working with you.
My children (6years and 1year) have thrived whilst being in Holly and Eric's care. It is like their second home. I love the flexibility offered and have high praise for their efforts at communicating with parents. I receive daily picture updates via whatsapp which show me how my baby is getting on and what she is enjoying that day. Holly has also been very involved in carrying out all recommendations regarding diet and skincare for both girls and she pro-actively feeds back important information about how they are responding. Holly ensures that the baby socialises with other babies by taking her to different groups and also partnering with a local childminder so that their small group of children play and learn together regularly. Holly is happy to encourage my 6year old to practice her spellings and do other homework. There is also opportunity for outdoor play in a fantastic playground directly opposite the home. I would recommend Ripa Childcare.

The service has been great!!. My children felt an instant warmth and security and always looked forward to going there. My son also gained a lot of physical development and confidence with other children and people.

Holly and Eric are amazing with my Son, he loves going and is always very excited to see them and has plenty of fun filled days, including going to soft play and lots of other days out with other children. I send him with a packed lunch on a daily basis but Holly informs me he eats the same as she is having.Holly keeps very good records and gives a clear and concise account of what they have done during the day, they are very accommodating and I would thoroughly recommend them I have nothing but high praise for Holly and Eric, they have made me leaving him very easy Thank You so much x

Thank you we miss Christopher, I bet he is a big boy now.
I have had the best experience with Holly and Eric. My son enjoyed everyday and sometimes on the weekends he would ask to go to Holly's house. She made him do a lot of constructive activities and bought him alphabet and number books that he really loved. Her outdoor activities were enjoyable too and she ensured my son was well fed and had a good nap in the afternoon before he came home with us. She also keeps very good records of all the activities and the individual file she makes for children is comprehensive and organised.
