About Me
I'm a South African lady. I've lived in the UK for 28 years. I live on my own and am dedicated to my work in Early Years.
My 26 old daughter is registered as an Assistant to my setting as a spare pair of hands but focusing on other interests.
My Experience
My setting is in a lovely family home, with a secure garden for outdoor play. Young babies and toddlers have their own room and wooden cot for nap times.
I went back to work in the city when my child was 14 months old and left her with a Childminder for a year. It inspired me to offer an outstanding childcare service as I completely understand the need to have a reliable, experienced person looking after my child.
I have a BSc in Nutritional Science and healthy, homecooked meals are what I'm known for.
I have 23 years experience as an Early Years Practitioner. I am currently studying part-time for a BSc degree in Psychology.
I have a beautiful mini Schnauzer dog who loves family life and can be separated from the children when need be. She will be 13yo this year. The breed is hyper-allergenic.
Since the pandemic I have decided to keep my setting small and safe and as a result, I DO NOT offer school runs anymore.
I have a doorstep policy, which means children are dropped off and collected from the front door. It is for safeguarding reasons and the children tend to settle quicker without parents in the house.
I tend to look after under 4’s and I teach the Early Years Foundation Stage. I prefer offering spaces to those seeking 4-5 days per week. You can always ask if I have space for fewer days but I cannot guarantee availability.
I was awarded an OUTSTANDING Ofsted rating in April 2022.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£6.50 per hr includes finger lunch (12pm) and a cooked meal (5pm)
