About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with 17 years experience. I live in Beckenham with my partner. I have 3 adult children.
I also live very close to a number of local parks particularly Croydon Recreation which is a lovely play park with a paddling pool.
I provide a safe, fun, loving and homely atmosphere for all children. My home is very laid back but structured with plenty of space and opportunity for children to explore and learn. I have a large selection of toys, books, games, puzzles and outdoor toys which children can play with in our safe and secure garden.
I provide fresh healthy meals (breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner) water is always freely available for the children at all times. I can also cater for dietary requirments such as vegeterian, halal, etc. Parents are also welcome to bring there own. I plan to provide healthy and nutritious cooked meals and follow the Food Standards Agency guidelines for Childminders. I am food safety trained and registered as a food business.
I have many policies and procedures in place that the parents can read if they wish to. Everyone in my house hold will be treated equally.
Risk assessments are carried out on a regular basis and I practise fire drills monthly.
All trips are well organised and the children are escorted safely and are constantly under safe control. My vehicle is 1 year old has 5 seats and is well maintained and covered by the required business Insurance policy and carries valid road tax and MOT .
My Experience
I have been child minding for 17 years and currently have 15 part time children registered on my books. I do pick ups from Balgowan primary school and Brick by Brick pre-school. I have dealt with children who have special dietary requirements, special needs and severe allergies and english as a second language.
My Qualifications
I have attended all courses to effectively implement the Early Years Foundation Stage. I also have up to date peadiactric first aid and have attended child protection courses. I and all members of my family have been fully DBS checked..
I am a member of PACEY (used to be National childminding association) and have public liability insurance through the NCMA.
