About Me
Hi my name is Tracy . I live in a quiet cul de sac with my Husband and two children age 15 and 17.
I provide fixed (same sessions each week) usually between 8 am and 5pm but I am willing to discuss any requirements. I can also provide emergency or short term care.
My setting is a home from home setting where your children can feel safe and secure whilst having fun and learning. I don't take on maximum numbers so it keeps my setting more relaxed. We follow the same EYFS guidance as nurseries and your child will have their own development profile and development checks that you can view and help to complete.
I work closely with another childminder to allow socialising and I also attend toddler groups, soft play, baby gym, childminding groups and the park. When we are not out and about I provide fun and educational activities based on their age and developmental stage of the children. Children also have a choice of different toys and activities if they wish.
My husband works as a paramedic so he works shift work and is around sometimes. He has all relevant checks and training so he can be a spare pair of hands if needed.
I use a digital online system called Baby's Day's which allows you to keep up to date with what your child has been up to whilst with me and allows you to view their developmental records, photographs and videos, accident forms or medical records at any time from any device with internet access. This also has the added benefit that you can share as much or as little with other family members who may not live so close or aren't able to come and view the children's normal journals at the setting. At the same time it is safe and secure requiring passwords and pin numbers to access information.
It invites you to make comments and add notes so you can be as involved as you wish.

My Experience
I have worked in childcare since 1994, mostly day nurseries with all ages between 0-5 working my way up to manager before having my own children and moving into agency work. I registered as a childminder in 2012 and now do this alongside agency nursery work.
My Qualifications
I have level 3 in childcare, first aid, behaviour management, Food hygiene L2. I am also a PACEY (formally NCMA) approved childminder.

I have a space becoming available in September/October 25 depending on hours required and age of your child.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I do not charge for the holidays on my term time contracts.
I allow parents to pay weekly, monthly or on a payment plan (yearly fees worked out and divided over 12 months)
Please contact me to discuss specific fees as this depends on type of care required.
I am able to except childcare vouchers and also offer 15/ 30 hours free education for eligible families of children age 9 months onwards.

My youngest child started with Tracy when he was only around 6 months old. From that day to this, our family haves found Tracy’s care to be absolutely excellent. He is looked after with such love and nurturing. He goes in and comes out so happy. Tracy’s approach to learning is so engaging and I can see all the children adore her.
The Baby Days system Tracy uses is fantastic. Everyday I can see what he has been up to and detail of how he has been getting on.
This is a truley brilliant setting and I wish I had found Tracy for my two older children. We never want to leave .

My son started with Tracy in Feb 2014 at 18 months old and he is still with her now 1 day per week and he will be starting school this September.
He loves spending the day with Tracy and has lots of fun. And he has progressed so much whilst with her! She organises learning activities for all children based on their abilities not as a whole to help them learn more. She has taken my son to a whole range of toddler groups, soft play, baby gym etc and makes all learning fun.
My son is at nursery 2 days per week now to prepare him for school yet I wanted him to still be with Tracy 1 day per week as I know he enjoys being there and that he would progress better academically with her than he would at nursery.
My son is currently going through diagnosis for Autism and Tracy has been great with him before this came to light and now. So she has no problem dealing with extra needs or challenging behaviour.
Very flexible and helpful with working parents etc and changing days if need be. I couldn't ask for a better childminder and wouldn't hesitate to contact Tracy if I have more children.

I have known Tracy for quite some time and i use her childminding services for my two children, one who is 6 and one who is 8. I highly recommend her childcare, Tracy is an extremly calm and kind natured person, who always puts childs needs first. There is always plenty for my children to do whilst in her care, as she takes alot of time and effort in planning and preparing excellent activities for the kids. Tracys childcare setting is in a perfect location, with ample outdoor playing space, aswell as a safe and secure child friendly home, which makes my children feel very relaxed and happy to be there. I would never think of looking anywhere else for childcare, Tracy is an absolute must for anyone in need of her services.

My two children Megan, 4 and Joshua, 1 have been cared for by Tracy for over 6 months now and I could not praise her enough. Although my two children are only part time with her they adore her and enjoy spending the time they have with her learning new things. Tracy has a very well structured learning timetable where they learn about different things each month and within that they also cover the basics with number and letter recognition.
Tracy has always been very flexible and is very approachable and caring. She has provided my two children with excellent levels of childcare and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder in the Hampshire area.
