About Me
Hello my name is Melanie and i live in Minster on the isle of Sheppey with my 3 children. I have been childminding for 20 years now and i find it a very rewarding job. I provide a warm, secure and fun environment for your child to learn. I provide lots of activities both in and outside. I regularly meet up with other local childminders and we have organised days out in the school holidays. I also attend the local toddlers around our area so the children are able to mix with others. I live close to the beach and parks.
My Experience
I have 20 years experience as a childminder and a mum to three boys.
My Qualifications
I hold a first-aid certificate
I am a member of the National Childminding Association (pacey)
I attend courses to continually update my knowledge
I have a level 3 in home-based childcare
Can offer the free for 2 year old 9 month old and 3-4 year old childcare places.
My Availability
I am availble monday -friday on a full or part time basis depending on your needs. I am flexible with hours and may be able to pick up or drop off from local nurseries.
I can offer the government 15/30 hrs free for 9mth 2 year old and 3-4 year old childcare places.
I offer Tax free Childcare.

Mel is the best, my child is well cared for, absolutely loves going, she has regular trips to the park, lots of activities etc - we would be lost without her - an A* childminder.
Im really fussy who I leave my children with and have no doubts whatsoever whilst they are in her care. Highly recommend :)
