About Me
Hi, my name is Lesley Howick and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live in East Grinstead and I have two grown up children, my son is traveling the world and my daughter Is living in Gibralta and working as a customs officer .I live close to amenities that are brilliant for children to be able to enjoy the outdoors, for example East Court, and live within walking distance of the town where we can enjoy activities such as the library. I am also within walking distance of Estcots School.
I feel I can offer a safe and homely environment where children can have lots of fun. While children are in my care I will create fun activities such as painting and baking. I will also have many days out to various places such as toddler groups.
My home has also been inspected and passed by the food and safety team from environmental health by Mid Sussex District Council.
My Experience
I am a mother of two grown up children and I have spent the last five and half years looking after my niece and nephews, who are now six, nine, and twelve, while my sister-in-law worked full time as a primary teacher. I also did childminding when my own children were younger for many years however I stopped so I could spend more time with my kids. As both my children are now grown up and doing there own thing, I decided to re-register as a childminder as it is a job that I enjoy.

Successfully passed courses with Educare:

Lesley has cared for my son (who will be turning 5 in August) since he was 14 months old. She is a fantastic childminder and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
