A lovely childminder

Shilpi has been with my little one since he was 1 and now it 2.5 years old. He has grown to adore her and her home. She has lots of toys for different ages and goes out with them to the park, soft play, and small journeys. He’s made lots of friends and it’s been amazing to watch his personality develop, he’s quite confident. The main thing I know about my son is that he will not sleep if he’s not comfortable, he would have a sleep, he will eat all his food and plays. Shilpi updates me in the day which I love, and if there are any events like Mother’s Day my little boy will come with a picture

super satisfied

my 1 year old had such a nice few months with her. she always had clear communication with us, about food , sleep and activities. my little one was always happy with her.
I would highly recommend her.

Christmas cover

My two daughters spend few days with Shilpi over Christmas period and they were so happy.
They got full bellies and a lot of drawing and activities during those days. Went to cinema and shopping centre. They're 6years old and 3 years old and they really enjoyed it.
It was super easy to contact Shilpi and to agree on terms. We have been using different Childminders throughout they years and she is one of the best ones. Will definitely come back if extra cover needed.

Best childcare my child received

My 3 year old had been to 2 settings before, after moving to the area we chose Shilpi and by far it was our best decision. She was upfront with all procedures, costs and settling in stuff. Likes how she gave us the tour of her setting over video and then in person. My kid took over 2 weeks to settle with her and Shilpi was nothing but patient, considerate and supportive during this time. Now my child is happy and is learning new things every day with lots of outdoor trips as well as indoor. I would highly recommend Shilpi thank you for all your help .

Demanding extra time to settle child,ask for money

She asked us to send our daughter early to settle. So we send her for extra hours She asks for extra money didn't even keep her for that long . And said ahe need more money and it should be in cash . I had feeling from start there is something wrong . Please ppl be careful.

This is an incorrect review as I don't have or had any parents where the child or parents' name is Tara . This is a closed account, and one can't even access this account . I have a waiting list, and I am full at the moment. by God 's grace . I have lovely parents I work with every day and most loving children, I look after full time .This is clearly a frustration of someone I declined for childcare . I would REQUEST EVERYONE who is looking for childcare to visit my setting , see my happy and safe setting , Talk to my current parents , see their recent feedback which I would share straight away, and DECIDE YOURSELF 💖.

Kind, caring, fantastic person

My boy has been more than two years with Shilpi. He started when he was 11 months old Monday to Friday.He loves her and her family. He’s made some good friends there. Shilpi is the most kind person. She provides fun and safety environment, lots of different activities. My boy comes out with a smile every day. She is totally professional and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Excellence at its best and home away from home env

My son started with Shilpi's setting when he was 2.5 year little one, and it's been more than a year now as he is reaching 4 soon.

- Shilpi's settling in sessions have been useful to get my son into the environment very well during the initial days.
- Being working parents, we felt so glad that we found such a reliable, trustworthy and well experienced person like Shilpi who always considered our kid like her own family member and ensured proper care at all times. Definitely home away from home t has been for my son at all times !
- An element which we were impressed by is the daily routine she setup for kids , how systematically she plans a day for kids to help them grow and develop in all ways needed for their age.
- Food wise : Shilpi is excellent is ensuring that the child always eats something or the other and the amount of options she prepares herself and helps the child eat shows her great patience. My son has been highly fussy at the age of 2.5 years and it used to be a struggle feeding him anything all 3 times a day. Thanks to her environment setting and her approach which left an impact gradually on my son and his food eating habits have improved to great extent over the months after he joined.
- Highly understanding women , she knows how to address any need or concern expressed by parent.
- Shilpi's interpersonal skills are great which have played major role in improving communication, vocabulary and the interpersonal skills itself of my child.
- Overall, I would say we couldn't have had any other better place for my son to start and grown other than in her environment.

Highly recommend shilpi as childminder for parents who are looking for trustworthy, caring , enjoyable and growth oriented setting for their little one.

Best services provided my kid loves being with you

Shilpi is looking after our son 3 year old from last 18 months . He goes every day with a big smile on his face . She put us at ease with her kind, trustworthy, professional manner from our very first meeting , Our son really enjoys his time in her setting and comes home with lots to talk about. He loves his friends and shares lots of activities with them . Shilpi shares pics and videos on a daily basis . She gives healthy food options and keeps great communication on a daily basis, too . I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a top quality, reliable, caring childminder.

Worst decision ever to send my 2yo girl to shilpi

I decided to send my girl to Shilpi after reading so many good reviews about her here. One thing I did not notice that all the reviews are so many years old except one. I know child settling sessions are difficult for a kid and parents both but Shilpi is a rude person. She lied about my girl’s crying reason. When I reached to pick her up on her 3rd day(she was there only for 2hrs), she was crying her lungs out with hiccups. I asked her the reason, her statements were not same with me and my husband. She said that there were “no tears” and “no hiccups”.Childminders should be honest Whatever the reason is, you can’t be rude with parents when they are showing their concern. As per contract she asked us to give 1 month of notice and we gave her 1.5 months of notice, still she only refunded half the amount after requesting so much by giving the reason that she is going on holidays and she would not find a replacement. She charges £7 per hour but it’s not updated here. She is a manipulative and money minded kind of a person. She was always forcing us to increase the settling hours and days, even if we were uncomfortable cause she is not available from end of July to whole august and we asked her that we will increase the hours once she is back as it would be unfair with the child. We couldn’t find her trustworthy. My girl took 10-15 days to sleep and eat properly after that incident. God knows what she have been through as she is still not communicating. Shilpi’s house is nearby and after reading good reviews, we sent her there anyway. Though we did not like shilpi since our 1st meeting and I regret it daily now. Very dominating childminder i must say. Please parents be very sure when sending your most precious little one to someone for a Childcare.

Any child starting childcare away from their home cries and get sad initially . These parents are lying as They have got evidence showing that their child was enjoying the time when she was under my care . These parents were not ready to send their child to the setting, which is understandable as its their first time . I HAVE NOTHING BUT BEING HONEST WITH THEM ABOUT MY CHARGES , HOLIDAYS, AND NOTICE PERIOD WITH THEM . Even after them pulling away from their contract, I have still refunded a part of their Non Refundable deposit, which was agreed and signed by the parents . Its a shame that their ignorance on how childcare works has led them to write such a review after I have nothing but being accommodating . I wish them all the best for finding childcare in the future .

Glad i found Shilpi

Shilpi is a wonderful and energetic woman. I have sent my 2 year old son who is bit stubborn and hyper active.She understood about him and was very patient until he got comfortable.Our family is happy about his improvement in communication and social interaction.She makes many activities with kids indoor and outdoors.She takes care of the food and everything. Glad i found her and he learned many things in 1 year.Hope this review is helpful to the mother’s who is looking for good childminder.
