About Me
I am 32 years old and I am from Spain. I am a qualified primary teacher who moved to UK three years ago. Since then I have been working in the educational and childcare field. I am passionate about working with children and I am self-motivated and enthusiastic person, who is not afraid of new challenges or new tasks. I consider myself as an easy-going person, responsible and with great people skills.
I am a pro active person who likes to keep itself busy and I consider myself a very responsible person.
I like playing with children, being creative and I love doing crafts and playing instruments. I started to play guitar when I was 5 and three months ago I got a piano to learn to play it.
To conclude I would like to say that I am a reliable person, flexible, trustworthy and with a sense of humor but serious when required.
I have driving license and own car.
My Experience
I was looking after children in Spain for two years and I was working as nursery nurse attending children from 6 months to four years
I was working at a nursery for one year with children from 6 months to 4 years in Redland (Bristol). This experience taught me to be confident, creative, energetic and to have more motivation to learn further.
Then, I decided to take the next step in my career and I enrolled in Protocol Education Agency to get experience as a Teaching Assistant. Currently working as teaching assistant in a Primary school with year 1,3 and year 4 children.
Other childcare experience, when I started to work in the nursery some parents contacted me to looking after their children My duties were basically, picking them from school, giving them their tea (normally their mum used to leave the dinner cooked, but I can cook for them healthy meals), helping with their homework, playing together whatever they want to play… and if I stayed longer I normally bath them and tell stories etc. I used to do some babysitting too.
I also teach Spanish in the School I work at. I teach spanish to a different year groups from reception to year 5.
I have also experience teaching Spanish as a private tutor.
My Qualifications
I have a bachelor in primary education and I have a qualification in Childcare because I have done several courses and I have been working in nurseries not only in Spain but also in England.I have First Aid and CRB checked with an update service.
My Availability
I am working full time as teaching assistant in a school so I am free from 4 pm everyday and free in the weekends.
