About Me
Hi there,
My name is Sarah and I live with my husband and 2 boys in LS17.
We live on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a safe secure and private back garden. We use the back of the family home for childminding, and have areas where we can eat, play, do activities and have lots of fun.
After many years of working in an office, I decided to become a childminder as this combines
my love for working with children, caring and seeing them develop, but also allows me to spend more time at home and be available for my own boys.
I will provide a safe and fun place for your child to grow and develop. We have :-
• a dedicated playroom ; ideal for messy play, baking and fun!!
• A huge assortment of toys to suit a whole range of ages.
• A quiet room for sleeping and relaxing time
• A downstairs toilet
• A safe and secure garden for outside play.
• Activities to date? Tea parties, Special Halloween Night, themed activities and topics,
Leaf Painting, birthday parties,
Diwali, Chinese New year, Harvest Festival, Bonfire night.

In line with OFSTED, I will promote and follow The Early Years Foundation - your child will be encouraged to grow, develop, have fun, and learn through play.
My Curriculum
We like to keep active so local trips to the park, playgroups, soft play, library, Harewood House and meeting up with other childminders in the area are all regular pastimes.
My Experience
I previously worked for the same company, full and part time, for 23 years!
Whilst the company changed over this time, it allowed me to raise my own 2 children.
In 2013 I decided the time was right to become a registered Childminder.
I have had 12 years experience of bringing up my own 2 children. Both are very different in many ways, but also share many interests.
Professionally, I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association For Childcare And Early Years)
and Pre School Learning Alliance, as I am keen to develop myself and build up knowledge within the Early Years setting.

Monday to Friday
07.30am until 6pm (can be flexible)
