About Me
My name is Karen, I am Ofsted registered childminder.
I have been a childminder for 13 years I live with my husband Robbie who is my assistant when needed.
we live in Runcorn area.
I consider myself and my husband to be Honest ,reliable, and hard working people , I have good time keeping and organisation skills . I have qualifications in child care ect
we both have our paediatric first aid certificates.
I offer a home from home setting which includes an indoor place to play or the living room were they can relax, read a book or watch tv, which is monitored. There is also an outside area with play equipment . I offer breakfast, lunch and snacks. I consider the food I provide to be a healthy varied diet. I also can offer a collection or pick up service for example from home, school, nursery for a small fee . I attend a number of play groups and understand how important it is for children to get fresh air and do outdoor activities. I visit the library ,parks and other interesting places, with permission of course. I consider myself to be a fun and loving person. I love working with children and I will protect and treat every child as if they were my own I will provide lots of fun ,love, and understanding of the world . I will do my best to work with you as the parents to bring out the best of your child’s ability an install good manners and educate them to the best of my ability.
My Experience
I have experience of 37 years bringing up my own child and step children who I consider to be respectful and well mannered .I have also had plenty of experience with my grandchildren who I see regular . I also worked in a playschool for two years

lI have my certificate in childminding ,level 3 Diploma, child protection awareness,paediatric first aid,level 2 in road vehicle driving

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge £5.00 per hour ,will consider discount for siblings and full time I also offer a pick up an drop off service for a small fee .

Karen has looked after my little girl for the last 18 months, and we could not be happier!! My daughter loves Kaz and her husband Robbie, she calls them Nanny and Grandad! I really struggled going back to work after having my little girl and I really don’t think I could have done it without Kaz! Knowing that my little girl was safe, happy and well looked after made it that bit easier!
My daughter has learnt so much since being with Kaz, the children are always occupied with fun activities, and trips out! I love that it’s like a home from home environment, Kaz helped us with potty training, she has taught my daughter to get dressed, put her socks on etc, she knows her ABC can count to 20, knows lots of songs/nursery rhymes!!!
My daughter is always well fed, and enjoys her meal times with her friends!
Couldn’t Thank Kaz and Robbie enough for all their hard work! They have made my life so much easier, they’re always flexible and ammeenable! I recommend them to anyone!

Karen and Robbie have been looking after my daughter for 61/2 years and I couldn't be more happy with the home from home service that I've always received. They are a truly kind and caring couple who do everything possible to make sure that my daughter is happy, safe and feels cared for in my absence as a parent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody that's looking for that special place for their child/ren who needs it.
Karen is like my daughters 'other mum', which to me is very comforting to see that caring bond that they have come to have during their time together.

I highly recommend Kaz and here is my reasons why.....like every parent we worry about going back to work after having a baby and my son has been attending Kaz’s child minding for 4 years now and I have not worried once. Kaz allowed me and my son to adjust by going a few hours a day until we were both ready for him to go full time. Throughout the last 4 years my son has grown to love Kaz and her family and calls them nanny and grandad. Both Kaz and Robbie are loving, caring and has my son’s best interest at heart. Kaz keeps a diary of all the activities they do and my son gets to go to play group, the beach, park and pick up the other children from school which has helped him to adjust to school life himself in recent weeks. Nothing is to much bother for Kaz and she is always willing to be flexible. Kaz and the other children have helped my son develop into a funny, loving little boy (every parents dream). Kaz attends all the first aid courses etc to keep her training up to date and always willing to share learning activities that she comes across with me and my son. Kaz has a lovely routine with the children and always encourages them in different core skills and I am most appreciative of the hard work that Kaz does so us parents can go to work and know they are in a safe environment. Kaz is certainly a hard working child minder and I wouldn’t have my son going anywhere else. When I say Runcorn’s number 1 childminder that is because I really mean she is the best Childminder you will ever be able to find.

Karen has been my childminder for over a year now! I can’t explain enough how she’s helped me in so many ways and how happy we all are having her in our lives.. it’s beyond just childminding kaz is a beautiful person inside and out! I trust her with my life!! She & Robbie are very family orientated aslo very genuine lovely people! I couldn’t recommend kaz kids enough! 😘😘xx5

Absolutely fantastic childminder and lady who is reliable, lovely and is an absolute diamond with my 2 year old who truly adores her 😍. I am so happy with her service and seeing the great relationship she has with my Son. Highly recommended A***** xxxx
