About Me
My name is jackie...ive been an ofsted registered childminder since 1998. I have two grown up daughters …27 a grandson of nearly 8 and a granddaughter of 5 years and a 34 year old with 2 grandsons 5 and 2.Both daughters have been DBS checked, and both have flown from the nest several years ago now , so I live on my own . I live in a semi detatched property with a fully enclosed garden, which comprises of swings, slide, play house.All children have full access to the equipment.. I am available for full and part time hours and drop offs /pick ups from

My Experience
I like my setting to be a home from home environment and believe children learn through social skills, i currently follow the early years foundation guidelines, and the every child matters development areas. I have a lovely relationship with both my mindees and their parents past and present , we are very much an extended family which I think is important for the child and parents to all feel valued and have a sense of belonging. I have thrived over the years watching all the children grow and develop into amazing individuals.

My Availability
I work monday to friday..7.30 till 6 but can vary according to needs of parents. I have full time availability from September 2022

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees are £6 per hour with reduced rates for siblings
I do not charge for my holidays.( 4 weeks in the year)

I found Jackie's details back in 2007/8 when I had to return to work full time. They have been with her ever since. The boys have loved their time with Jackie as she is very creative so they have always brought home exciting arty gifts.
They have had a lot of 'firsts' with Jackie, first interaction with an animal (they were scared of cats, dogs, etc until they met Poppy) they have had their first ride on a bus into town, first play and picnic at Fairlands Lakes splash park and numerous others.
Her love for the children shows in the annual Halloween party (and other parties) that she hosts for the children and parents in her own time. It's also nice to see older children that have left Jackie's pop in to see her or still attend her parties.
My boys are now moving on to Senior school, one this year and the other next September, they will be sad to leave Jackie's care but I have no doubt they will be popping back in for a cuppa and a catch up.
