About Me
hi my name is sue, I'm 52 and live in the lovely village of Huntington. I have just had my Ofsted inspection June 2019 and received Outstanding in all areas, I have one son called jack, who is 20 Years Old and is working as a mechanical Engineer. I have been a child minder for 11 years now and have enjoyed every minute of watching the children I care for go through different stages of life. I live in a lovely ,quiet cul-de-sac which has a park just over the road. I am a Level 3 qualified Child minder about to do A Open University course for Level 4, I am constantly updating my knowledge with the relevant child minding course, I implement a Home based Childcare Setting and promote Equality and Inclusion. I have a current and up to date First Aid Certificate, I have Safeguarding Level 2
My Experience
All my children have come to me at the age of 6 months, and i feel very honoured and proud that i have seen them crawl, walk, talk and bond with the other children in my care. I have two sets of siblings. We do the school run in the morning then attend different activities such as songbox, at Milers Yard, tumble tots and childminders groups.
i have experience looking after children with downs syndrome, i cared for a beautiful little boy, who had downs syndrome, and i feel very lucky to have had him in my life, we used to attend the childrens centre at the hospital and took the makaton course.
i am available for overnight care too.
My Qualifications
i have my level 3 in childcare and in March I am going to be starting Level 4 in Chidcare, my safeguarding Level 2, A current and up to date first aid training, which is upated every 3 years, i also try and go on any childminding couses that become available, i would say my best qualification, is been a mum and a friend.
My Availability
I will have 2 full time spaces available in September 2019 as 2 of my children will be starting school, I have a part time space available now,
I drop and collect from Stockton Lane Playgroup and hempland school and Huntington Primary

My 2 girls went to sue and they both loved it. Sue is brilliant with children and always made them very welcome and nothing was ever too much she is fantastic. The only reason we left is at the time when my hours changed at work there wasn't the availability we needed unfortunately.
