About Me
My Name is Trish, and I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder for the last 19 years
I live in Hawkenbury, Tunbridge Wells.
I live with my 2 adult daughters. I also have another daughter and a son and a granddaughter who is 7 years old.
I came to Tunbridge Wells 30 years ago from Oxford, and before going into childcare, I lived and worked in London for 16 years.
I work as a Home from Home setting, where children can feel safe and secure. This also allows the children to experience normal aspects of life in a relaxed stimulating home environment, surrounded by other children.
I have lots of toys, books, crafts, and games for all aged children. These are easily accessible for older children to help themselves. There are also lots of educational and sensory toys for my Early Years children.
I have a large fully enclosed garden for the children to play in, with plenty of activities and toys to keep them busy. The younger children have their own partitioned area of the garden with their very own play toys.
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2005. I have looked after children from weeks old to 11 years, some of the children in my care have been with me for many years, and often siblings have followed.
I was born into a large family, where I am the youngest of 9 children. I am also a Aunty, Great Aunty, and Great Great Aunty, so many many children have been a big part of my life. This is where I developed my love of caring and nurturing children, through my days and many evenings of babysitting for my older siblings children, so gaining the confidence of childcare before eventually having my own.
My Qualifications
I have been Registered and Ofsted checked since January 2005. My last Ofsted inspection was in May 2022 and I was graded Good. I have full insurance, all members of my family are DBS checked, I have up to date Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and I'm a member of the 'Pacey' (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years.)
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday, 7.00 to 6.00 but these hours are negotiable.
I also work on school holidays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Fees on request.
I am on the Government Childcare Choices for payments, I also accept workplace vouchers.
I am also eligible to deliver Funded Early Education Entitlement from 9-months-old, (Sept 24) 2, 3, and 4 year olds. which can be shared with other settings.
My Local Schools
