I am a very calm and relaxed person. I do enjoy a nice walk, reading and swimming.
I have been involved in animal welfare (rescue charities and my own rescues) all my life.
I class myself as a very confident person. I have never felt out of my depth with any situation that I have had to deal with, partly due to the many years of experience that I have.
I have many year's of reference's and all relevant documents.
My references are excellent and checkable. I have my own vehicle and I have my own business insurance.
I volunteer for St John Ambulance and thoroughly enjoy this.
My Experience
I have worked with children of all ages from birth to 16yrs of age for over 40 years, so I have a vast amount of experience.
I have worked many time's as a proxy parent and thoroughly enjoy this type of work.
I would describe myself as firm but fair and I always look forward to meeting new families.
I am happy to walk the dogs, feed the chickens etc
I really have carried out numerous tasks throughout my time as a Nanny and I do not have a 'will not do' list!
I am also happy to do overnight/day housesitting + animal care.
My Qualifications
None.
I started working with a family of 5 children when I was 16. Personally, I feel that all my 40 yrs of experience is better than qualification's.

Trish babysat our 13 month old for the evening whilst we were at my sisters wedding and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a babysitter. She was great at communicating with us, we had a quick call a couple of days before to chat through the plan and she completely put our minds at ease, we felt very comfortable leaving our son with her. Thank you very much again Trish!
Overall
I have had the pleasure of meeting Pat recently and she has been kindly looking after my baby boy for a couple of months now. She is very calm, loving and a caring nanny. I feel at ease when I leave my baby with Pat and her experience is apparent to me.
Pat looks after my baby very gently and looks after him with love and care. She has also looked after my 7 year old daughter who thoroughly enjoyed her time with Pat and together they had a wonderful time where my daughter spoke very highly about Pat.

When I first contacted Trish to discuss babysitting needs she was very kind and understanding. We arranged for her to visit us and both my boys aged 5 and 10 were excited to meet her and show her around our home. I was really impressed with Trish's experience. We had an evening out for our older boy recently and Trish came to look after our 5 year old. Everything went really well and felt calm when we arrived home. It was nice of her to send me a message when H had gone to bed nicely after doing puzzles, playing cars and reading with her. We are looking forward to some future kid free nights out with Trish here with the boys

We wanted a night away in London and contacted Trish to confirm her availability. Trish come to see our family home and the children a few days before we left and from the moment we met her we knew she was the perfect fit.
When you sit down with Trish you soon feel at ease with the wealth of experience she has accumulated over her life and career to look after your children.
Our children are aged 5,5,7 and 9. She greeted them from school, prepared tea and got them in bed without any trouble at all, tidied up and then following morning had them up bright and early, dressed and out the door without any trouble.
When we returned the house was clean and tidy and she left a lovely note on anything she felt we needed to know.

Tricia was amazing, she looked after my 3 & 5 year old for a few days and nights. For various reasons my little girls are really sensitive and have only stayed away from me a few times so I was really worried that they wouldn’t settle but Tricia was great with them, and knew exactly how to handle them. They both asked when she was coming back so that’s got to be a brilliant sign. She really is your very own Mary poppins! Thanks Tricia xx
