About Me
Hi,
I'm an Ofsted registered child minder, I have been registered since 2007. On my last Ofsted inspection I was graded "good". I'm a very warm & loving individual with the aim to provide the best possible care for children.
I live in a 5 bedroom end of terraced house in the LU3 area of Luton. I live with my husband and 3 of my children, they are all working. All of us are DBS checked.
All downstairs spaces are used for child minding, which includes living room, big kitchen, toilet & wash room, 2 reception rooms. I have plenty of toys and resources for children to explore and learn. There is a large garden with a pergola, where children play with water, sand and kick a ball.
I regularly take them out to Stay&Play, library and to the park routinely where they have opportunities to play with other children and take part in many activities which build their confidence and social skills. I do observation, development checks and plan activities according to the child's interest following EYFS guidelines.
I provide home cooked healthy meals and snacks.
My Experience
I have been working with children since 2007, as a child minder and as a nursery nurse.
I worked in a reputable nursery for 5 years.
I have brought up my 4 children.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 2 and 3 in child care
Diploma in Home based child care.
First Aid training
Safe guarding training
Food safety level 1
Observation and Planning - 2009
I am always upgrading my knowledge and skills in childcare via training provided by the early years team at Luton Borough council.
My Availability
I am available from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. At the moment, I have availability for 2 children under the age of 5. I have a flexible approach to work.
I do school drop off and pickup from William Austin Junior and Infant.
