About Me
Hi, My name is Lisa and I'm 42 years old.
I live in sidcup with my husband and two children aged 12 and 13. We live on a lovely road just a short walk away from Sidcup High Street.
Our home has a colourful and fun playroom ,with lots of toys for all aged children and an exciting garden with fun things to explore.
I'm a registered childminder who provides a safe, warm, homely environment for children to thrive in.
My Experience
Firstly I'm a mother of two children and have been working within childcare for over 20 years with all aged children. From new born babies to teenagers. Most of the families I nannied for have been big families, with 3 or more children. I've been a registered Childminder for the past 7 years and throughly enjoying it. Combining these three experiences has given me a great deal of experience and knowledge in childcare. Being able to deal with many areas within childcare i.e. behavior, healthy eating and development stages of the early years curriculum. I enjoy creating a safe, stimulating environment for children, being able to plan activities indoors and the importance of outdoor play.
Working with parents for so many years I understand how important it is to work closely together and building a great relationship. This enables the child to feel safe, secure and meeting their individual needs.
My Qualifications
NNEB Qualified.
CACHE level 3 Diploma in home based childcare.
Paediatric First Aid Training.
Food hygiene course.
DBS checked

I’m currently full.
Monday, Tuesdays & Wednesday 7.30am-5:30all year round care.
Thursdays Is term time only 7:30-5:30pm.
I do pick ups from Longlands Primary School in Sidcup.

My daughter has just completed Year 6 of Primary school and is therefore leaving Lisa. We couldn't have wished for anything more; the care given over the past 7 years has been brilliant - our daughter has had a home from home and Lisa and her family have supported and cared above and beyond, we're so sad to be leaving but we know it's not goodbye!

Lisa has been looking after my daughter for over a year and we are still beyond grateful to find such an amazing childminder. My daughter loves going to Lisa’s and has made some great friends. Lisa is always taking her out to a variety of activities and provides a wide range of delicious meals every week. Lisa is extremely accommodating and will always go above and beyond to help us when needed. It is clear that Lisa cares very deeply about the children she looks after and takes a genuine interest in their wellbeing. I cannot recommend Lisa enough.

My little girl and boy have been with Lisa since they were extremely young, they love going and there is always so much to do, they come back having had so much fun and always look forward to going! Lisa caters for every child's needs and is incredibly kind, caring and patient, we couldn't ask for someone more perfect to look after our two children, Lisa goes above and beyond what is asked of her. They have experienced so much with Lisa and my two have bonded so well with her family and the childcare family she provides for, we have been able to relax and not worry when at work knowing our children couldn't be in better hands.

We have been lucky enough to have lisa care for both our children over the last 3 and a half years. It is so reassuring having our children attend a real home from home. Lisa is caring, supportive and very professional. Both children have thrived in her care and have loved being with her family and with the other children in lisa's care.

Our daughter joined Lisa in September 2017 and we are so grateful that from day one she has been happy and content in the environment.
Erin transitioned from nursery to Lisa when starting school, and the change was seamless; we didn't encounter any upset at all.
Three years on and Erin still has great relationships with all the children in Lisa’s care; they are all great friends and have even had zoom meetings during lock down!
Lisa does extremely well ensuring respect and care is maintained between all children and it’s lovely to see and hear the children playing together whether it be in the playroom or out in the gorgeous garden; Erin is aware of rules set and enjoys her time knowing where her boundaries lay and this also extends to the walk to and from school where Erin has always arrived and been collected safely.
When in the garden Lisa has ensured that Erin has sun cream applied and that there are shaded areas for play – and tea time picnics! We have never collected Erin from the garden in hot weather and she’s been without a hat and sun cream.
Erin loves the variety of outdoor apparatus; slide, swing, trampoline to name but a few.
When school has been closed due to snow Lisa takes care of Erin in similar measures; cold weather clothing for snow play and hot chocolate to warm up afterwards.
Erin is always fed well and enjoys her meals at the table with her peers. She eats a variety of meals and has always been satisfied.
Using the Baby’s Days app, we have found it easy to sign policies, permissions, attendance registers and have enjoyed seeing the uploaded pictures of Erin and reading her daily notes. .
We have definitely found a 'home' from home for Erin!

Lisa is absolutely wonderful, she’s had Arthur since he was 10 months old kept to my routine where possible, takes Arthur to all kinds of fun play groups. I get pictures throughout the day which makes me so happy and she’s happy for me to text throughout the day to check he’s ok. Lisa’s home is a perfect setting with so many toys books and games. She’s made mine return to work such a breeze and I can’t recommend her enough.

Lisa has been childminder to my now 7 year old daughter Florence since she was 4 - providing school drop off, pick up and school holiday care.
Lisa's setting, care, dedication and professionalism is outstanding and needless to say Florence absolutely loves both lisa and going to her house each day.
I am continually impressed by the varied activities the children take part in during normal afternoons after school through to full days during the holidays. Lisa encourages and provides a brilliant mixture of fun, learning, education and play and ensures the children are stimulated, occupied and importantly enjoying themselves at all times.
Florence has the best time at Lisa's and has made amazing friendships - and absolotely loves Lisa's healthy home cooked food!
Nothing is too much trouble for Lisa and the attention she pays to each individual child gives such piece of mind that they are in the best possible safe and experienced hands. We are very lucky to have Lisa as a childminder.

I cannot recommend Lisa highly enough. Mason (15 months) was with Lisa for 3 months from June 2017 and only left due to me being made redundant. It was a real upset telling Lisa that we had to stop the child care.
Being first time parents, the thought of leaving our precious little boy with anyone other than us during the working day seemed like a nightmare. But we needn’t be worried as Mason Loved being with Lisa. She provided a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise. Mason’s favourite activities were water play, reading books, music time and playing in the garden.
Lisa completed a diary detailing what Mason has done each day. From this we had a complete picture of his whole day including what he had eaten, how long he had slept and all his activities. Lisa also sent us photos of Mason every day which was a lovely extra touch we wasn’t expecting.
All in all we were thoroughly happy with the level of care Mason received and we would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa to any parents considering her. In our view, you will not find better. Had I not been made redundant then Mason would still be there now and we know that he will miss her greatly.

Lisa was a nanny for my two children for 2 years and was definitely the best childcare we've had. She has a real gift with children, they seem to calm down and relax with her when they can be manic with me! She was really professional; punctual, reliable and would go out of her way to plan things to do with the kids during the holidays. The kids loved having her in their lives and still talk about her 2 years later.
She left us as she wanted to become a childminder closer to home, which I am sure she is brilliant at. Anyone who gets her is very lucky. Happy to provide references on request.

Lisa looked after my 3 children and was highly professional, very organised and importantly caring. My children adored her and my husband and I were very happy knowing our kids were in such safe, proactive and happy care.
