About Me
Hi,
I am winding down mu childminding business and will fully retire from childminding in September 2024
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder and I am qualified at NVQ Level 3 in early years care and education.
At my latest OFSTED inspection I was graded GOOD. (December 2018)
I currently offer 15 and 30 hours government funded childcare to 3 and 4 year old children and to eligible children aged 2 years.
I am married to Brian and we have an adult daughter Michelle amd a granddaughter Danniella.
We live in Lostock Hall, four miles south of Preston, and close to M6/M61/M65 motorways.
There are no pets on the premises, and we are a non smoking household.
CURRENT FEES are listed below, please note snacks, drinks, outings and admissions are included in the daily fee.
Packed lunches/Baby food/Formula to be provided by the parent.
Swimming lessons for children aged 3+ attending full time are also included.

My Experience
I have over 30 years experience of working with children from birth to 12 years of age.
I have a wide range of equipment for children of all ages and their experiences become my experience.
We attend toddler groups, where little ones can mix with other children therefore promoting social skills.
We regularly go to the park and/or indoor play, and when the time table allows visits further afield such as Windmill Animal Farm, Burscough and Lytham-St-Anne’s Beach/Lake etc...
My Qualifications
NVQ qualified at level 3 in Early Years Care & Education.
Child Protection Level 3
Safeguarding.
Paediatric First Aid.
I hold many training certificates including;
Observing Children
Improving Children's Learning Through Play.
Risk Assessment, Food Hygiene, Arts & Crafts, Drama, Counselling etc..
I also implement The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to all children under age 5. This being a legal requirement via Ofsted.
My Availability
I am open 46 weeks per year.

I can offer before and after school care to children who are old enough/sensible enough to make their own way
to school and back again after school is ended.
This could suit parents of year 6 pupils and possibly year 5.
I am close to both Lostock Hall CPS and St Gerard's RC schools.
PLEASE NOTE:
The only school I can collect from at this time is Walton-Le-Dale Primary School.
