About Me
Hello! My name is Lauren and I am an Ofsted registered Childminder based on Grange Park in Northampton. I live with my husband and our 2 daughters ages 11 and 14, and I have been Childminding since 2012.
I have a dedicated playroom full of educational and engaging toys as well as comfy seating, whiteboards and open access to large back garden. I also like to go on adventures with the children to parks, forest, soft play and we are big fans of visiting 'Rookery Farm' together.
The children and I also have an allotment where they have the opportunity to plant and grow their own produce. It’s so lovely to be able to send home fruit and vegetables that the children have grown themselves.
My aim is to provide you and your family a welcoming, safe and secure setting where your child or children will feel valued, included and free to express their ideas and feelings through play.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 10 years, caring for children of various ages and have been to many courses to enable me to give the children the best possible experiences.
I have experience in childminding 6 month old babies to 8 year old children.
My Qualifications
Certificate in paediatric first aid
Level 2 certificate in food hygiene and preparation
Cache level 3 certificate CYPOP 5
Ofsted certificate of registration- Confirmation that I meet the expectations of Ofsted and the early years foundation stage.

I have been delighted with the excellent level of care given to my daughter from the age of 2 to 4 years old. My daughter has been expertly cared for, engaged in regular activities that have been carefully thought out to encourage her development, and I have been kept informed of her daily events with a thorough diary with photos. This childcare provider has been very flexible with my changing requirements. She has always remained bright and cheerful, very protective of the children in her care, patient and calm. She has enabled me to go to my place of work without having to constantly worry about whether my daughter is ok. Highly recommended!!
