About Me
Double Covid 19 vaccinated childminder.
I was born and raised in London but I have lived in Maidenhead with my husband and three children since 1996. I spent 22 years working in the city of London in the banking industry and after being made redundant decided to move into the retail industry, where I worked for a further 6 years. My husband Steve currently works in London as a Commercial Manager. My eldest daughter is 37 and has a son who is 2 and my son is 30 and has a daughter who is 4, both of them no longer live at home. My son was also a kick boxing fanatic and has represented GB at European and World level, and was sponsored by Adidas in the team events. My youngest daughter is 22 and works as a financial administrator in Langley. In 2010 she landed a part in "OLIVER the Musical" in the west end, where she performed for 5 months. All my family are very out going and easy to get on with, and I have a fun loving and happy home environment which I believe is essential for the children in my care.
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2008 and really enjoy it. The children in my care learn through play and are always praised and encouraged. I take the children out most mornings to places like Ockwells Park / Soft Play in Maidenhead, Big on Bouncing in Slough, Pirates Landing in Wokingham, the toddler's group in Holyport, and I also take the children to the Maidenhead Childminders Group in Holyport, where the children take part in messy play, arts and crafts and singing amongst other things. When the weather is warmer I also take the children to Marlow Park where they get to feed the ducks, and they also have lots of fun in my fully enclosed garden which has a large variey of toys and equipment to keep them active. These are just a few of the fun things that the children in my care are exposed to.

CACHE Level 3 Diploma In Home-based Childcare
Observation and Planning
Manual Handling in Childcare settings

Heuristic Play : Play With A Purpose
Early Years Foundation Stage and You Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.

My setting is open from 7.30 am till 4.30 pm
I ask all parents to provide their own child’s meals , ie a packed lunch or food that can be reheated, because I feel it’s very important that they monitor their own child’s nutrition, what with all the allergies etc. There are no hidden charges, I pay for all the children’s activities when we go out, and I don’t charge for bank holidays because I don’t work on those days. The full fee would need to be paid if your child is sick or unable to attend my setting, however, if I’m sick or unable to work there would be no charge.

Pat has looked after my two children, Oliver from 9 months old until he started reception in 2022, and William from 9 months old in 2020 until he will start reception this September. Both children settled in brilliantly and made friends straight away with both the children in Pats care, and ones that they see at all the amazing places they go to on a daily basis in her care.
Pat’s setting is fantastic, she has everything and provides their safe space with all the love, care and encouragement you could ever want for your little ones to grow and develop.
Pat truly has been part of our family, and my children have loved every second and start school well rounded and ready. We love you Pat!

Pat has looked after my eldest son Ellis since 2021 just over a year old right through to him starting reception, Ellis never had any issues settling in with Pat from day one she made him feel at ease and he loved every day with Pat and his little friends. Pat also made me and my partner feel super comfortable with her abundance of experience with children but also how kind and easy to get on with she is. She does so much with the kids Ellis always comes home with little projects he makes for us there, its so sweet. I could not recommend Pat enough she's made the whole experience of finding a complete stranger to care for your child so easy and we all love her so much now she feels like part of our family! My youngest Enzo will be joining her this year just like his brother and I'm so glad I will have her in our lives for another 3 years. Thank you Pat! Xx

My little Amelia went to Patricia’s full time since she was 11 months old right up to school age and she is my second daughter who went to Pat. Amelia is so happy there that every day she asks if she goes to Pat so I didn’t want to move her to pre-school.
Patricia is so caring, loving and also very patient. She treats all the children who attend her home as if they were her own! She teaches all kids very good habits and takes them to fun places. She also takes care of the educational part like learning letters, numbers, colors, shapes etc. Amelia is always happy when I drop her off and many times she says she loves Patricia. :-)
We all love Pat and her Family!

Patricia started looking after my daughter Yulia since she was 13 months old until she went to reception. That was a very stressful time for me and my husband as we have no family around so we had to find completely strange person to do a childcare. I must say we couldn't find a better person than Pat. From the beginning I could see that children she looked after already love her so much. It is not just making sure they are fed, with dry nappy and safe....she give them lots of love so they feel like home. Pat is very easygoing and if you want her to do staff your way she has no problem at all. Potty training last for a few weeks and Yulia was only 2 when she stopped wearing nappies. Yulia is 5 now and went to reception but stil loves going to Pat during half terms. I would def recommend Pat as she's a great childminder, lovely parent and very loving person.

To me Pat is the best thing since sliced bread and even my daughter still thinks so!
Pat looked after my daughter from when she was 9 months until she was nearly 3 (we only left as I went on mat leave and moved out of the area)
My daughter absolutely adores Pat and her family and formed an amazing friendship with the other children that that were in her care at the time!
I was extremely nervous about returning to work after having my daughter and leaving her altogether but Pat's caring nature, loving home environment and her passion to keep the kids well entertained had me at ease straight away not to mention that she was very accommodating to our hectic work schedule and that made my transition back to work extremely easy.
I'd recommend her in a heart beat!

We placed our son Tristan Mullard with Pat from January to December 2013, he attended 5 days a week. We switched him from a nursery which he had attended from 10 months to 14 months. We were unhappy with the care that he was getting at Nursery as he had gone from a confident, sociable little boy to a very melancholy boy who was repeatably ill with nasty things like tonsillitis and sick bugs.
Within two weeks of switching Tristan to Pat’s care, he started to become more sociable and confident again. He also started walking within just a few weeks and was rarely ill. It was clear that he loved going to Pat’s and seemed to thrive in her care.
We would happily recommend Pat as an excellent child-minder, who clearly loves what she does and in turn the children she cares for love her! Since moving house (hence why Tristan is no longer with Pat), Tristan still talks about her and likes to look at photos of her and the children she cared for with him.

Patricia is an excellent child minder. She looked after my son for more than a year. ( I only stopped using Patricia because I had twins and then stayed at home with them all) .
As soon as we met Patricia we knew that our son would be comfortable and safe with her. Our son loved going to her house because he felt completely at home there and he was likely to have an action-packed day. Patricia was always attentive and considerate to our son’s requirements.
Patricia is reliable, flexible, professional, caring and always happy! If I ever need any child minding, Patricia is always the first person I call. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a child minder. You will not be disappointed.
