Dear parents,
My name is Serpil.

I am doing my Forest School Leader ( level 3 ) course
Working hours 8am-6pm but could be flexible.
We live in a 4 bedroom house with a garden.
I take children to parks, play groups and do lots of activities at home as well.
We visit local parks at least once a day.
Your child will be safe, busy, have home made food. We learn, read, paint, draw, dance, cuddle, respect, talk, count, write, play, jump in puddles, do gardening etc.
The weather doesn't stop us being outdoors, we have spare wellies, umbrellas, coats, gloves ...
I accept childcare vouchers and payment by child tax credit etc.
I don't request deposit or payment in advance so you will only be paying for childcare end of every month.
FROM MY RECENT INSPECTION IN MAY 2019;
This provision is GOOD ;
Inspection findings
* Effectiveness of leadership and management is good, Safeguarding is effective.
The childminder and her assistants have up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding issues and are aware of the procedures to follow, such as how to report any concerns if they suspect a child is at risk of harm.
The childminder implements clear policies and procedures to help keep children secure. Children are encouraged tomanage their own risks where necessary. For example, the youngest children are able to navigate steps in the garden successfully, including signalling for help when they need it.
The childminder understands the legal requirements set out in the early years foundation stage and ensures these are met at all times. As a result, she is able to accurately identify any strengths and improvement points for her provision.
*Quality of teaching, learning and assessment is good
The childminder plans exciting activities for children based on their individual interests, meaning that children learn and progress well. She uses accurate assessments of children's learning to successfully promote what they need to learn next.
The childminder provides ideas for learning activities that parents can continue at home to support their children in meeting their expected milestones. For example, she works closely with parents to help0 children to take their first steps.
Children show a good understanding of key mathematical concepts such as routines and time. For example, children know that once they put on their shoes they can go into the garden.
Children are encouraged to take part in activities they are originally hesitant to join in with,
helping them to develop a 'can-do' attitude in their learning.
* Personal development, behaviour and welfare are good
The childminder and her assistants carefully plan a daily routine which children eagerly take part in.
Children clearly bond well with the childminder and her assistants due to the established key-person system.
The childminder supports all children to understand sharing and to control their emotions and behaviour when interacting with other children.
Children are listened to and supported wherever needed, no matter where they are in their language development.
Children are developing a good understanding of how to manage their own needs. For example, young children are able to put on their own shoes without adult help.
* Outcomes for children are good
Children are well prepared for school. Where children may need additional support to achieve, the childminder diligently supports them to progress swiftly in their development.
Where needed, the childminder works alongside other settings to enable children to have a smooth transition between the two providers.
Children successfully learn about the world around them, happily pointing out features they notice, such as aeroplanes and birds which they can see and hear above them.
Children show care and affection for others. For example, they pretend dolls are babies in their role play, affectionately washing them in a 'bath' while correctly naming each body part in turn.
I also offer AD HOC CHILDCARE for some parents who don't need childcare on regular basis.
Look forward to hearing from you !!!

My dauther started going to Serpil when she was 19months old for almost 3years.
Everyday Serpil provided new, other and various activities, games, plays inside and outside. My daughter was busy with her all the times. Serpil tooks the kids to local parks and playrooms. Her garden is great and big with lots of toys and pool during the summer my daughter was very happy!
Serpil is very flexible and always adapts to your needs.
My daughter was a picky eater, but eating meals with other children helped her a lot. Serpil had a balanced diet. Vegetables, pasta, pancakes, sandwiches.
Wonderful family atmosphere for my daughter it was a second home. She asks and misses her and Aila a lot!
Your child will have wonderful care, fun and learning.
Highly recommended!

Serpil was such a tremendous help when our full time nursery stopped doing Fridays. Our Son settled in immediately and it was his favourite day of the week! He made fast friends with the other children, ate food he didn’t/wouldn’t eat at home and was always so happy to go and happy when we collected. Serpil was also very flexible and helpful when we required extra days or care. I can’t recommend her enough!

Serpil looked after our toddler from when he was 1 to around 2 and 4 months. He had such a great time at Serpil's and was so sad to leave, however we moved out of the area and so had to. She taught him a lot but most of all he always had fun there and would come home happy but tired!
All the best and couldn't recommend her enough

My son went to Serpil for 6 months, before we moved house and left the area.
Serpil was wonderfully caring with our son, who had not previously been looked after by anyone but me and my husband. She was flexible and tailored her approach to my little ones needs.
She has a wonderful garden and a house full of toys and gives the children ample opportunity to explore and be curious through messy play. She takes the children out frequently to local parks, libraries and playgroups, where they mix with lots of other children.
Serpil feeds the children home cooked meals like stews, soups, pasta, etc which are always packed with veg and goodness! My son was always more adventurous with his food at Serpil’s, so it was great to know he was eating veg with her even if he wasn’t at home!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a childminder!
