About Me
Hi there, I'm Deb, a 55yr old Mum of three adult children, (a daughter 30, and two sons 28 and 23). Since I qualified as a Nursery Nurse (NNEB, national nursery education board) in 1993 I've worked with children in many different settings.
The qualities that I am most proud of are my love of young children and babies and my calm, kind, and caring nature. I've helped parents to care for their children whilst working in the NHS, day nurseries, family homes and in primary schools.
Until last September I held a Nanny position for 6 yrs with the same family. Here I had the sole charge of twin boys from the age of 11 months, and also their baby sister who was born when they were 2 years old. I built a lovely bond with all three children, and still keep in touch and look after them from time to time. We did many fun activities together including, going to parks, feeding the ducks, attending groups, going to the museum and library and soft play. Lots of crafts and games at home usually with an educational theme such as early phonics or number skills. We also baked cakes, and played with sand and water. I cooked for them and bathed them, read them stories and cared for them if they were poorly.
