About Me
My name is Michelle Neve I am originally from Yorkshire and have lived in Sandhurst since 2005. I live with my husband and two adult daughters. I am an Ofsted registered childminder and offer drop offs and pick ups to and from Owlsmoor Primary School. I live 2 minutes walk from this school too. I have been childminding since 2013 and have established a lovely little setting. At the moment I have no spaces for any age groups and am in the process of starting a waiting list. I love the company of children, the satisfaction of seeing them learn and grow is second to none. I feel that as my own daughters have grown up, (far too fast in my opinion!) I am missing those younger years. I have a growing selection of resources and take children on outings to local parks, drop in centres and indoor play centres. Although I do have a full drivers licence I don't have access to a vehicle and so would use public transport when going on outings which are further a field.
I have undergone 3 Ofsted inspections and am pleased to say that I achieved a "good" grade/2 in all of them.
My Experience
I have over 22 years experience being a mum. I baby-sat for cousins and neighbours from the age of thirteen till eighteen. I was and still am very reliable and trustworthy. I completed a parenting course at school which involved learning how to change a nappy and how to make nutritional meals. Since leaving school I have been in retail employment, the last being the Co-operative foods. I would often come across children shopping with their parents and always had the knack of distracting them from a tantrum and making them laugh! The kids always made my day whilst working there, which, along with wanting to spend more time with my family, was the reason for me leaving and becoming a childminder.
My Qualifications
Other than a city and guilds in health and social care, and the childminding course I completed to become a childminder I don't have any other relevant qualifications. I am seeking to further my education by studying for an NVQ level 3 in childcare/ child development etc. I do have 3 A levels and 8 GCSE's.
My Availability
I am very flexible and reliable.
My working hours are from 7am till 6pm.
At the moment I have no availability.
I offer care during school holidays too!
