Absolutely Outstanding

Jay looked after our son for two years and we cannot speak highly enough of her. We found Jay to be a kind and loving carer who our son could not wait to see every morning. We saw our son develop in leaps and bounds and we have no doubt that Jay played an important role in this, from teaching him words, to painting, to letting him cook with her. Jay knew his moods and interests and catered to these most impressively. She spent untold hours walking him to see trains, to feed ducks and to run around at play group. Jay has a supportive family and our son slotted in to their mornings, and he loved to be part of their after school/work catchups where he was always welcomed. We are incredibly sad to leave Jay and are only doing so as we are moving out of the area. She has been so wonderful for our son, and we can only offer our highest recommendations of her to anyone considering child care in the area.

A Heart of Gold

Jay is an outstanding childminder. We are very fortunate to be in our fourth year with Jay. Our DD has absolutely flourished under her care. Jay is very knowledgeable about child development and has a wealth of experience. I have so valued her advice along the way. Whilst our daughter was with Jay full time, Jay kept a detailed folder which she built up over the three years. This contained wonderful records of our DD’s development, art, photos and celebrations. It is marvellous and just one example of how Jay goes above and beyond. Jay’s home is incredibly safe, warm and welcoming, our DD loves the whole family. Another thing we have loved about Jay is her emphasis on home cooking and encouraging our daughter to enjoy being a part of food preparation. Additionally, Jay has been excellent at getting our DD outdoors, for a picnic in the park or to feed the ducks, to name a few. Jay establishes an excellent routine for children and this has been very important for our DD. There are so many great things to say about Jay, but to sum up, Jay is incredibly trustworthy, kind, safe and importantly she is someone who loves children. She takes their growth seriously, whilst still having a lovely sense of humour. I thoroughly recommend her.

Excellent

Jay was the childminder of my son throughout all 7 years at Churchfields. I was very happy how he was looked after. Jay really has the best interest of the child at heart and has been a great help in my son's development.

And most importantly, my son was very happy staying at Jay's. It really was a home away from home for him.

Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.

Great care for many years

Jay has been looking after two of my kids since 2013 on both full time basis as well as school runs. She is a caring, trustworthy and a highly qualified Childminder with a set up close to what you would have at home - home made meals and lots of playing/walking (indoor and outdoor). She puts her heart into the job and is passionate about kid's wellbeing. She ensures that each child is treated as an individual and uses approaches that work best for each. I highly recommended Jay for any type of childcare - wether for school runs or on a full time basis - you will know your child is in safe hands!

Gentle, patient and utterly trustworthy!

Jayshree looked after our son and daughter for 16 months, once a week, and we have nothing but praise for what she has done for us. We would highly recommend her; as my title suggests, we personally loved her calm manner. Most importantly, our kids loved her.

We had been told of her services by another parent at Salway, and were slightly nervous about leaving our 4-year old and 18 month old with anyone, as we had only left them with grandparents when we decided to use Jayshree.

By the end of the second week, both our kids loved going and would run in to Jayshree's happily reaching out to hug her. Flexible, relaxed and thoroughly professional, I would urge you to try her out if you're looking for a childminder.

This is THE childminder you need!

Jay is one of the most caring, understanding, educated and fully-hands-on childminder I have ever met, who knows exactly what she is doing. I sent my 1-year-old daughter to Jay's care for two years and I watched how my daughter flourished during her care. Jay is highly educated in childcare and she is regularly in contact with the wider relevant childminders network group(s). She has her own two lovely children and has great family dynamics and house settings. I believe these are a combination of qualities that not all childminders can provide, and I think this combination of qualities makes what Jay can offer unique and highly valuable. As a first-time-Mum I think I would have struggled during the challenging times of my daughter's developmental journey without Jay e.g. toilet training, eating habits, social and non-social skills etc. Me and my husband felt very lucky to be able to find Jay as the first childminder for our first child. She not only cared for our child but provided us with guidance and advice and so made things easy for us where it could have been more challenging and uncertain. Above all she is a very trustworthy person, and with no doubt this is the most important feeling for any parent leaving their children in other people's care.

Excellent, Caring Childminder

Looking for childcare for your first child is an extremely daunting process – I met with half a dozen childminders before I decided to go with Jay – what sets Jay apart is that she provides a warm, loving home away from home, that caters to each individual child’s needs. In addition to this, she is extremely warm, caring and flexible. My daughter, Charlotte, went to Jay’s 4 days a week before she before she began attending Kindergarten – her time at Jay’s helped Charlotte to get used to being away from Mummy and to develop those all important social skills needed to interact with other children her own age. As a result the transition from Childminder to Kindergarten was an extremely smooth one. I cannot recommend Jay highly enough.
