About Me
I've been a registered childminder for 18 years, recently receiving OUTSTANDING on my 2022 ofsted inspection.
I have 2 lovely daughters aged 17and 19, and a lovely partner who also enjoys talking to the children and interacting. I have my own home in Prettygate.
We have lots of fun going to parks, zoo, library, soft play, play groups, outside play, forest school, grand friends, and lots more, we also do painting, play dough, cooking, colouring, to name but a few.
I have a separate play room that the children can make their own to put pictures and photos up and anything that makes them feel at home.
I have a child friendly garden with sandpit, water play, and lots of balls, hoops and trucks etc. We also have 4 guinea pigs which children love to watch running around.

I have been childminding for 18 years, I've worked with children from 5 months to secondary school.

paediatric first aid, safeguarding, cbr, Ofsted registered.

Helen has been looking after my daughter since May 2014 and in that short space of time she massively contributed to my daughters learning development even though they only spend one day a week together. Looking for a childminder was a daunting prospect but Helen put me at ease straight away with a relaxing and friendly home environment that is clearly geared toward providing the best possible experience for the children in her care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Helen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and enthusiastic childminder.

Helen has been looking after my little boy (just turning 2 years old) for 18 months now, and the time has just flown.
She's helped him with counting and his alphabet. Helen takes him to the zoo, the library to playgroups and he has a fantastic time and learns so much. Each week he seems to be able to do something new that Helen has helped him with.
He's so happy there and Helen takes the absolute best care of him. In fact, he often doesn't want to come home with us in an evening, and some mornings, if we linger too long chatting with Helen, we're told "Bye" and pointed towards the door by him! I can't think of a better recommendation than that and I can't imagine anyone better to look after you little ones!

Helen has been looking after my little boy for just over a month now and I couldn't imagine a better childminder. She's fantastic with him and he's very happy there - they're always visiting places or going to play groups and he's getting so much out of it. He's never upset when we leave him there in a morning and he's always smiling when we go to pick him up in the evening. He adores her two daughters, and they love him back - lots of kisses all round! What more can you ask for!
