About Me
Hi,
I'm Sarah and I enjoy providing home based child care in a happy family setting to children between the ages of 3 months to 12 years.
Located in Bitterne Park, Southampton school runs to the local schools can be catered for. I first registered as a childminder in March 2001 and find it rewarding and more importantly great fun.
The well being and happiness of the children and parents is of paramount importance to me and I take great pleasure in providing a variety of activities to entertain the children.
I believe firmly in communication not only with the children but also the parents to provide the best quality care possible.
My Experience
Being a mum of three has provided me with an excellent grounding. This along with having provided care for numerous children of different ages, backgrounds and abilities over the years has allowed me to grow as a child minder and now be able to help nurture their development irrespective of their situation.
Prior to child minding my background was nursing within the private sector. In addition to this I have, in he past, assisted in providing care for my step brother who has a severe learning and physical disability.
In summary, there is unlikely to be a situation that I haven't already experienced.
My Qualifications
B - Tec National Diploma in Pre - Nursing.
Paediatric First Aid.
St John's Ambulance 3* First Aid Award.
SCMA ( Southampton Child Minding Association ) child care course.
My Availability
7am until 7:00pm weekdays. Also available during school holidays and on bank holidays. Occasional overnight and weekend care will also be considered.
