About Me

Hi All,

I am looking for a permanent, on a weekly basis job. Available for EVENINGS, and WEEKENDS.

I have a 2 year old and a 9 month old. I can say that I have experience looking after new born babies, toddlers, and children up to 12 year old.

I am a fully qualified and certified professional with a Bachelors Degree in Childhood and Youth Studies, now that I have qualified, and have gained a lot of experience with working with children and their families; in nursery and school settings, I have decided that I do not want to work in a nursery or school setting, in my opinion, I do not believe that the children are provided with the love, care, and support they require individually, therefore I have chosen to work independently as a nanny/tutor.

As I have gained a Bachelor's degree, I would like to take advantage of my knowledge gained and share it with parents. As part of the degree, I had to complete a research project (dissertation) which I completed on parenting styles affecting children's behavior as a result of this, I believe I am able to provide information, advice and techniques to support children's behavior, if necessary. I believe children require boundaries and discipline, and rules should be put in place for children to adhere to. This can support children's, listening skills as well as social development.

The services I provide are:

Babysitting , at the clients home.

After school Nanny, - Providing extra support for Early Years children, enhancing their learning development by, teaching them the alphabets, numbers, days of the week.. colors, etc.

Au Pair - Live Out.

Emergency babysitting.

One off babysitting.

Support parents with potty training their child.

Support parents during school holidays.

I consider myself to be more of an Au Pair / Nanny, I am NOT a Childminder as I do not care for the children at my own home, furthermore I do not charge per child like childminders do. I charge per hour regardless of how many children you may have.

I have great communication skills, I am an educated woman and money motivated, I have good manners, I am independent, polite, hard working, reliable, respectful, helpful, dedicated, honest/trustworthy, tidy and active. I work whole heartily to my best ability.

Most importantly I enjoy working with children and young people and encouraging them to learn new exciting and fun things.

I believe all children will enjoy being in my company as I am a bubbly, friendly young women, that likes to interact and communicate with children, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
