My name is Nicci, I live in Haydon Wick,I have a very friendly cat and a little Chihuahua who is adorable and loves the attention from the children currently in my care. We live in a lovely cosy house in Haydon Wick we are very fortunate to have great walks nearby, a little park on the estate which has soft surfaces so i am able to take the children there regularly.
In my spare time I enjoy meeting up with friends, walking, Cinema, Holidays. I have a National Trust membership which I can use with my Minded children as well.
I am a professional person and like to put the needs of your child first. I operate policies to enhance your childs mind, behaviour and understanding and consider Continuity of Care a priority.
I provide a happy, safe, clean and nurturing home environment for the children to be in where they can have all the individual attention they need, while encouraging independence and confidence. I would like to think that all the children I care for feel at home, happy, content and part of the family.
The service that I provide is based on what I would demand and expect should I be the one seeking childcare for my child. My aims are to be inclusive, understanding and professional and that it is tailored to suit your needs.

Garden toys are plentiful (slide, chalk board, water, bats & balls, Golf, Scooters, Bikes, Skipping ropes etc)
We have lots of trips out into the green spaces around us, libraries, play groups, picnics, exploring parks, walks, farms, National Trust places, soft play, Rangers events run at Stanton park, Twigs community garden and lots more.
Separate sleeping facilities are provided to enable undisturbed sleep.
I have many references/letters and Thank you cards from past parents which can be viewed when visiting.

Nicci has been looking after my 2 boys aged 5 and 9 since June 2012.
Up until this point they had only been looked after by family members, so it was important for me to find somebody they would be comfortable with. As soon as I met Nicci at her home and subsequently introduced the boys to her, I knew they were in good hands.
Nicci provides a safe and caring environment. My boys took to her immediately and really enjoy going to her. She provides numerous activities to keep them entertained and regularly takes the children she looks after to the nearby park and to walk the puppy. Nicci also provides them with a cooked tea, which is extremely helpful for me.
I am shortly being made redundant, so have given Nicci notice. However, I will not hesitate to contact her when I have found another job.
