About Me
Hi. My name is Jessica.
I have been three times graded Outstanding by Ofsted. I have looked after children of all ages, as the name of my setting suggests, now specialising in Early Years. My home is smoke and pet free.
I live close to parks and areas of natural beauty.
Children are taken out to enjoy regular outings to parks and woods and children’s centres and make use of the garden. We take regular trips to the zoo. Children are transported rear facing for extra safety.
I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association of Childcare and Early Years) which allows me to keep the quality of my practice high.
For every child, I make observations of their development and plan activities to help them learn and develop. I will discuss with you how we can best work together to support your child.
My Experience
I am a childminder's ambassador, working as an adviser to less experienced providers. I have been a parent for 38 years and have been a professional childcare provider for 24 years
I have looked after many children of differing ages and stages from newborn to teenager.
I have a background in sport and have previously coached young people in basketball and football
I also ran a mother and baby aerobics class (babeaerobics)

My setting has been inspected by the Environmental Health Department and is registered as a food business. I was awarded a 5 star food hygiene rating. I hold a level 2 qualification in food hygiene for catering.

My Availability
My service is available from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. weekdays 47 weeks per year

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Hourly rate £7.00 - £10 per hour
Funding charges to be agreed on a contract by contract basis
Discounts available for full time children
To be paid weekly/monthly in advance on Friday.
Above rates are all inclusive (Formula excepted)
Rates also include most outings and activities including regular zoo trips.
Overtime/Late £20.00 per hour minimum charge £10.00 (30 minutes)
Other hours/services are available on request i.e. ad hoc days/hours/2nd child
A minimum of 4 week’s notice is required on either side for termination of contract. (No notice is required for non-payment of fees)
A retainer of 50% may be payable for absences of longer than 1 week and for maternity cover if you wish to retain my services
Please note that I am on annual leave for two weeks every Christmas and two weeks during the summer or autumn plus 5 INSET days. Public bank holidays not included. Please note, these fees are for guidance only and are negotiable.

My 7 year old daughter was looked after by Jessie for 6 months and the moment we met her, both myself and daughter knew she was the right person.
She has a fantastic wealth of experience from her own children and time as a childminder.
She is extremely organised, professional and a lot of fun. My daughter was always happy to arrive and wanted to stay when it was time to go home!
Jessie is extremely approachable and my daughter always felt comfortable discussing her day at school including any issues she may have had.
Jessie always engages the children in a variety of different activities and I always heard fantastic stories at the end of the day.
If it wasn't for us moving area, I would have definitely kept Jessie as a childminder until my daughter reached teenage years!!!
No recommendation is high enough, the moment you meet her you will know why she is rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
