About Me
Hi my name is Lisa and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder . I live with my husband and 3 children aged 19, 20 and 22. We also have a mini Labradoodle called Shandy. We live in Anlaby in East Riding.
I have been childminding for 15 years now. I am down to earth, friendly, honest and caring. I love my job and it is what i can see myself doing until i retire!
I work from my very cosy log cabin which is fully equipped to cover each of the 7 learning areas of development. My curriculum is based on children's interests and also the seasons.
I am now a Hygge in the Early Years Accredited setting and we spend lots of time outdoors in local woodland area's and in my spacious back garden.
I like to offer lots of loose part play to inspire children's curiosity and imagination based loosely around some of the Curiosity approach style principles .
I offer trips out to local parks, toddler groups, woodland areas and i meet up with other local childminders on a regular basis.
I treat my minded children how I would want my own children to be treat and I can't offer better than that!
I also pride myself on reliability. I do regular training and webinars to maintain my continuous professional development. I have an OUTSTANDING Ofsted rating.
My Experience
I have a Btec National Diploma in Childhood studies level 3 childcare qualification.I have 4 years experience of being a nanny for triplets,experience working as a Nursery Nurse and the invaluable experience of having my own children.Working with children is what i have always done and I find it a very rewarding and satisfying job.
My Qualifications
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood studies level 3. I also have an A in GCSE Child Development.I am registered with Ofsted and have my Paediatric first Aid .

My son always felt very welcome and settled
All care given to very high standards
He came from been very shy to thriving and ready for his next journey through the excellent ways lisa uses in learning and achieving
Very warm welcoming atmosphere and friendly more like family than strangers
Very informative on everything you need to know about your child and what they are doing
I would say we picked the best possible place for our son before his next chapter
Love everything about this childminder and her business but she genuinely honestly cares for each child the same

Both my sons attended lisa, the both gained so much experience and lived been around her, her family and the other children in her surroundings.. One of my children is partially sighted and was very delayed and lisa brought him on amd now he is nearly 7 and ahead with everything .. i would highly recommend xx

My daughter has been going to Lisa for the almost 2 years now, since she was 6 months old. During this time she has thrived. Lisa has a range of activities that are engaging and help with her development. My daughter loves going to Lisa’s, not just because she is a brilliant childminder but because she feels one of the family. My daughter has always ran into Lisa’s and some days she doesn’t want to come home because she’s having so much fun. The other children have also become like part of our family and they are really kind and caring towards each other. I can’t recommend her enough.

My son absolutely loves going to Lisa's
She's amazing Very warm kind caring and a welcoming environment
He learns do much and it's always fun but educational
He's really settled right from the start of his time here
Am really glad he's here as am 100% relaxed and comfortable with all his care and needs with lisa
Totally highly recommended she's beyond fantastic and always follows all rules and regulations

I've used Lisa as a childminder for the last ten years for two of my children. They both thrived in Lisa's setting. She has so many wonderful activities for the children to do and takes them on lots of adventures. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a childminder, it is much more personal than a nursery as its on a smaller scale. Both my children had a great relationship with her and miss her so much now they're both at school.
