About Me
I have lived in this area all my life surrounded by the beautiful fields and woodlands a great environment for children of all ages to learn which we explore on a daily basis. I have been a childminder from 2005, have two sons (in their 20s) who live in my home. I have an excellent long standing relationship with The Old School Nursery, Great Cheverell and Holy Trinity Academy School, Great Cheverell and an an active member of the Devizes Childminding Group. I offer a home from home environment for free flow play, whilst working alongside the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Children can access a range of out\inside activities (we particularly enjoy crafting) - I have a conservatory/play room specifically for childminding which allows access to my fully fenced back garden where the children can play as well as having the opportunity to grow and care for their own plants. In order to help the children socialise in larger groups we attend local toddler groups, library (including a monthly rhyme time specifically for childminding children), soft play, National Trust properties (I hold life membership), local museums and even the beach! I give children the opportunity to experience public transport (bus and train which are always thoroughly enjoyed), as well as my car. I am flexible and do all I can to accommodate each family's needs/requirements. I offer full and part time contracts, for children aged 0-11 years.
My Experience
I have been a childminder from 2005 - but also have experience using a childminder (full time) for both of my own children so have experience both sides of the fence! I was graded as Good by Ofsted in my last inspection, I am also Accredited and Quality Assured and hold an NVQ 3 in Childcare and Development as well as a number of other qualifications.

My Availability
My core hours are 8am to 6pm* (Monday to Friday) hours outside of these can be discussed. I work all year round.
