About Me
My name is Lisa Fairhead.
I am married with 3 children (a 29 year old son who was a pupil support officer ) who lives in Scotland now. A 26 year old son who lives in Chester and a 22 year old daughter who is a project manager. A dog called storm who is 7 years old an 3 year old Great Dane, a lizard called Jonathan who's 15years old and a 7 year old giant tortoise called oya).
My self, husband, two sons and daughter are all CRB checked.
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 26years. I like to think Our home is warm, welcoming and loving. I am fortunate to have a separate play room a separate lounge and large kitchen which leads on to an enclosed and secure garden. The children in my care can access all ares down stairs.
I live close to Biggleswade Train Station making commuting an easy option.
My Experience
I am a qualified N.N.E.B. nursery nurse and worked in nursery schools and reception classes before becoming a childminder.
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 25 years and have gained a wealth of experience in this time.
I had my last Ofsted inspection in July 2017 and was awarded a GOOD.

My Qualifications
I am a qualified N.N.E.B. nursery nurse and worked in nursery schools and reception classes before becoming a childminder. I have successfully completed the ICP (certificate in childminding practice) the DCP (developing childminding practice) and the ECP (extending childminding practice). i also completed the Birth to Three training and the EYFS training.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I offer the 2 and 3/4 year old funding between the hours of 9am - 3pm. My hourly rate in between these hours is £6.50
My hourly rate for non funded children is £6.50

Lisa has looked after both my daughters since they were 10 months and 1 year old respectively (they are now aged 9 and 5). They both still love going to her house, and we all consider Lisa to be part of our family. She looks after her children in a loving, friendly environment and gives them so much to do and so many wonderful experiences. In short, she is the mother I wish I had time to be. I would recommend her in an instant to anyone who wants their child to be cared for in a non-nursery, 'non-sterile' setting.
